TNOU Admission Process 2023
Admission at Tamil Nadu Open University is on the basis of entrance test conducted by the university. Students are expected to submit scores of class 12 exam for admission in the Undergraduatecourses. For admission to PostGraduate, applicants must appear on the university's entrance exam. The students' final selection is based on the qualifications obtained from the applicable exams.

- Along with the application form, a fee of INR 500 is charged for general category students and INR 500 for SC/ ST students

Scholarship
Tamil Nadu Open University Chennai provides the facilities to reserved category. Following are the facilities available to the students:
- SC/ ST students who are pursuing distance education are eligible for reimbursement of fees if they are not employed and if the annual income of their parents does not exceed INR 1,00,000
- Tamil Nadu Open University scholarship for differently-abled students pursuing a Programme at the university in the form of exemption from tuition fees
Counselling
The university will begin Tamil Nadu Open University Chennai counselling for all eligible students. Candidates are expected to attend the counselling round on the date specified at the venue to ensure their admission. Candidates will carry along the original copies of the aforementioned documents along with their self-tested photocopies. On the day of TNOU Chennai counselling, they would also have to bring a hardcopy of the online application form
