TNNLU Admission 2023 is on the basis of the national-level CLAT entrance exam. Tamil Nadu National Law School was founded in 2013 in Tamil Nadu and is the first of its kind national level legal institution in the state. The University Grants Commission has included TNNLU in the approved list of Universities. The Bar Council of India has granted recognition to TNNLU as a Center for Legal Education. UGC has included TNNLU under section 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956, which will enable TNNLU to apply for grants from UGC and other Central Government Funding Agencies TNNLU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University offers integrated programmes such as BA LLB and BBA LLB in the level of Undergraduation and LLM in the level for post-graduation. Admission Through CLAT
TNNLU, short for Tamil Nadu National Law University, offers admissions to its undergraduate law programs (BA LLB and BBA LLB) through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). CLAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually for admission to various NLUs and other law schools in India. TNNLU follows the centralized counselling process conducted by the CLAT Consortium for admission to its law programs. The eligibility criteria for admission to TNNLU through CLAT include a minimum of 45% marks in the 10+2 examination for general category students and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates. The admission process includes online registration, filling of the application form, and choice filling of preferred courses and institutions based on CLAT rank. TNNLU Application Form 2023
The Tamil Nadu National Law School application form can be filled out Online mode. Candidates can check the details related to the Application form from the points given below:
- The application form will be available at the TNNLU Official website in July 2023.
- The candidates have to apply for CLAT 2023 in order to register themselves for admission.
- The application form for Common Law Admission Test is available only through Online Mode.
- Candidates are requested to check the eligibility for the course they wanted to apply.
- All the necessary documents are needed to be uploaded by the candidates.
- The candidates need to cross-check all the details filled by them in the Application form for further verification. If the details are found to be incorrect the form will immediately be rejected.
- Candidates are also required to pay the application fees of the form through the online payment system.
- It is advised to candidates to keep a printout of the application form and fee payment receipt after the successful submission of the form.

How to Apply for CLAT?
In order to apply for admission to Tamil Nadu National Law School, candidates must state it as their preference while registering for the CLAT examination. The whole application process is given below:

- Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab, which will redirect the applicant to a page run by the respective National Law University responsible for conducting the CLAT examination of the year.
- Read all instructions given carefully before going to the ‘Register Online’ tab.
- Fill in all details required in the form, and confirm every entry before proceeding to submit the application.
- In the preference section, choose ‘Tamil Nadu National Law School’ as the higher preference choice.
- Payment of the application fee can be done through online transactions as directed by the website.
- Admit cards for the examination will be issued after the closure of applications, subject to successful submission of the application form and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
- The form costs Rs.4000 for unreserved categories and Rs.3500 for reserved categories.
Tamil Nadu National Law School Admission 2023
The University offers undergraduate double integrated law programmes i.e BA LLB and BBA LLB. The minimum eligiblity required to apply for the courses is that candidate must have passed class 10+2 from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC) with an aggregate of 45% marks and should be less than 20 years of age. The final selection of the courses will be based on the performance of CLAT 2023 and the merit list prepared by the university in accordance with the cut-off. TNNLU LLM Admissions 2023
LLM is a one-year degree programme offered by the university in three different specializations. The eligiblity required to apply for the course is to have completed Bachelor's in LLB or an integrated LLB with 55% marks in aggregate. For more details candidates can refer to the table below:

TNNLU P.hD Admissions 2023
The University offers a research programme in the field of Law. The minimum duration of the Ph.D. programme is 3 years & a maximum of 6 years. The admission to Ph.D. is based upon an admission test conducted by the University. A minimum of 55% in a master's degree from a recognized university is a must to apply for the course. CLAT Examinations
The University takes in admissions for the LLB Programme on the basis of CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). The examination will be held in an offline mode for a duration of 2 hours. CLAT question paper will carry 200 marks based on the topics from the English language, current affairs including general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. For LLM paper candidates have to secure 40% at least out of 100 objective types of questions to be qualified for Descriptive Paper. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark while 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. The candidates have to fill the application form through Online mode and pay the required fees for the examination. Admit cards would be received before the examination that is to be carried in the examination center.

Placements
TNNLU offers placements for all UG and PG programmes. The University has an office of Career Services that arranges pre- placements discussions between recruiters and interested candidates. The University makes it compulsory for the students to do internships and provides various opportunities for it too. Few recruiters such as Indian Overseas Banks, Punjab National Bank, and various Law firms visit the university every year for placements. The highest package offered was Rs. 12 LPA and Rs.6 LPA as an average package.
