TGOU Admission 2023 is on the basis of candidate merit in the last qualifying exam. The Global Open University is an open private university and was established in 2006 under The Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006) in Dimapur, Nagaland, India. It is accredited by the UGC, AIU, AICTE, DEC, and COL. In 2008, the Global Open University was recognized provisionally by the Distance Education Council for offering distance programmes. The GOU offers academic degree programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the various fields viz; Management and Commerce, Health and Medical Sciences, Ecology and Environment, Law and Juridical Science, Psychology and Counseling, Education, Journalism, and Mass Communication, Computers and Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Applied Science, Social Science and Tourism, Travel & Hospitality Management. The university also offers short-term online certificate courses apart from its distance education degree courses.

TGOU Admission 2023 for PG Courses
The university offers various postgraduate courses viz; MSW, MCA, LL.M., MBA, MA, M.Sc, M.Com Master of Hospital Management, Master of Public Health, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, Master of Business Law. Candidates must have an undergraduation degree in the relevant subjects in the 10+2+3 system pattern or an equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA to apply for the PG programme. For admission in M.Sc. and MCA program, candidates must have B.Sc. and BCA degrees respectively. Admission in all the courses will be based on merit in the qualifying exam.

TGOU Diploma And PG Diploma Courses Admission 2023
The Global Open University provides admission in Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Post Graduate Diploma courses in many fields. For admission in these courses, candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with at least 55% marks in aggregate to apply for Diploma and Advanced Diploma Courses.
For admission in PG Diploma courses, candidates must have completed a graduate degree in the relevant subject(s) in the 10+2+3 study pattern or an equivalent qualification with at least 55% or equivalent CGPA. Selection to all the courses is totally merit-based.

Key Points for Diploma and Advanced Diploma Admissions:
- All SC/ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 5%.
- Candidates must wait for 25 days. Authority will provide the Identity Card and confirmation letter and the set of lessons.
- Candidates with 70% marks or more in the 10+2/Graduation can apply for admissions directly
- Candidates seeking admission in diploma and advanced diploma courses should be below the age of 23 years
The Global Open University Application Process 2023
Candidates seeking admission in the University have to apply in offline mode. They have to download the application form online through the official website or can collect it personally from any of the study centers. Given below are some steps that candidates have to follow to apply for admission:
- Visit the TGOU official website.
- Candidates have to download the form for the course he/she wants to apply.
- Fill all the details asked in the application form.
- Get a Bank Draft of the specific amount of fee as mentioned in the Prospectus in the favor of "The Global Open University, Nagaland" payable at Dimapur.
