University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad is also known as UAS Dharwad. This is a state university which is located in Dharwad, Karnataka state. UAS Dharwad offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. agricultural courses like BSc, BSc Agri., B.Tech, DIP Agri., MBA, MSc Agri, Ph.D. Agri programs.

UAS Dharwad UG Admission 2023

The candidates who are interested in B.Sc and BHSc agricultural courses must check UAS Dharwad admission 2023 eligibility criteria which are given in the table below:

  • The Candidate should have passed 2 years of PUC science examination which should be conducted by Dept. of Pre-University Education, Govt. of Karnataka or,
  • The candidate must have completed equivalent examination with the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and a science subject  or, 
  • The candidate must be passed 2 years PUC science examination of the Dept. of Pre-University Education, Govt. of Karnataka with Inter-Agriculture as the main subjects
Note: If the candidate is a Kashmiri migrant applying for admission in UAS, the directions issued by the Govt. of Karnataka will be followed. If the candidate has been cleared ICAR test then, the admission will be governed by the guidelines of ICARand they do not have to take the CET entrance examination which is conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka

The admission will be made on the basis of the academic performance of the candidate in PCB in the 12th standard Science examination

Note: 
  • The admission process is based on the verification process of original marks sheets and other details which will be mentioned in the UAS Dharwad application form such as seat availability, fee payment by the last date issued by the university.
  • The admission process is strictly merit-based subjected to fulfillment of the above-mentioned eligibility criteria, except for the reserved seats which are meant for agriculturists or children or award of agriculturists and ICAR nominees. In the case of remaining reserved seats, then those seats shall admit candidates from the general category.

UAS Dharwad PG Admission 2023

The candidates who are interested in M.Sc and MHSc agricultural courses must check UAS Dharwad admission 2023 eligibility criteria which are given in the table below:

  • For SC/ST/Cat-I candidates, they must be completed post-graduation and must be clear pass in the examination

  • The candidates who have completed their bachelor's examinations from any recognized State / Central Governments and Autonomous institutions/ colleges/ universities, applying for admission in PG programs can apply only for one subject.
  • The candidate is attending the written entrance examination of a total of 50 marks obtained in the selected group subjects.

The candidates who are interested in MBA agricultural courses must check the University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad admission 2023 eligibility criteria which is given in the table below:

  • If the candidates seeking for admission in Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology then must be a holder of a post-graduation degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Agricultural Botany / Agricultural Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Plant Biotechnology / Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Entomology / Agronomy / Horticultural Sciences / Crop Physiology / Nematology / Seed Science and Technology/ Forestry / Plant Biochemistry / Soil Science to apply for the admission
  • If the candidate is a holder of a post-graduation degree in Agricultural Marketing and Co-op./Agribusiness Management/ Agricultural Economics from a recognized Agricultural college/University then they are eligible to apply for PhD in Agribusiness Management
