Delhi University Cut Off 2020: Check Course, College & Category wise Cut off

Delhi University Cut Off 2020 will be released by the University of Delhi in online mode. The cut off of Delhi University is the minimum percentage of marks that candidates must secure in their class 12th to grab a seat in undergraduate programmes through DU 2020 admission. DU 2020 cutoff marks is determined by the authorities using the best of four subjects of candidates in class 12th. Based on the best of four subjects of class XII, the DU admission cut-off is decided. According to the DU officials, the university will release five lists and one special DU cut off list for admissions to over 62,000 seats across 91 participating colleges this year. Candidates must note that DU 2020 cutoff marks will vary as per the different categories, programmes and colleges. Candidates must check the DU cut off 2020 for Arts, Commerce and Science streams before admission. As there’s no entrance test for University of Delhi UG admissions (except for 12 courses), the cut-off marks of DU admission are determined by candidates marks/performance in class 12th/qualifying examination. Delhi University Cut Off 2020

The University of Delhi offers admission to eligible candidates into the undergraduate programmes on the basis of candidates marks/percentage in class 12th/qualifying examinations. There are about 91 participating colleges of the University of Delhi that offer admission in various UG/PG programmes on the basis of DU admission cut off marks. Admission in PG programmes is either on the basis of candidate merit in UG degree or entrance test conducted by the university. Interested candidates have to either secure equal to or more than the DU cutoff 2020.

Factors affecting DU CutOff 2020

The University of Delhi predicts its cutoff for the admission to various programmes offered by the affiliated colleges depends on following factors. While preparing the cutoff marks of DU, following factors are taken into consideration.

Best of Four Subjects – The best of four is very important factors while predicting the cut off. Best of Four marks is the average of the highest marks obtained by candidates in any four subjects of the qualifying Class 12th board examination.
Programme – The programme for which the candidate has applied for is also considered.
Number of Seats – The total number of seats offered by available in the programme also plays a very important role while determining the cut off of DU.
Number of Applicants – The total number of applications received for individual programmes of DU admission.
