Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU) offers admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law, and Management. The admission process for VKSU is mainly based on merit, and candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the respective course they are applying for.

• The application process for VKSU admission usually starts in the month of May-June, and interested candidates can apply through the official website of the university. The application fee is to be paid online through the website.
• For undergraduate courses, candidates must have completed their higher secondary education from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the relevant subjects. For postgraduate courses, candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the relevant subjects.
• Selection for admission to VKSU is mainly based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying examination. However, for some courses like B.Ed and M.Ed, candidates are required to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university.
• After the publication of the merit list, candidates who have been selected for admission are required to complete the admission process by submitting the necessary documents and paying the admission fee within the stipulated time.

Veer Kunwar Singh University B.Ed Admission 2023

VKSU offers admission to the B.Ed program based on the marks obtained in the B.Ed Combined Entrance Test conducted by Nalanda Open University, Bihar. Students holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree are eligible to apply for admission.

• VKSU B.Ed Entrance Test - The B.Ed Combined Entrance Test will consist of a total of 120 questions of one mark each. Multiple Choice Questions will be asked with no negative marks.
• VKSU B.Ed Application Form - The application form of Bihar B.Ed CET will be available on the official website of Nalanda Open University. Also, the candidates have to pay the amount of Rs. 1000 as an application fee (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates).

VKSU offers various undergraduate programs such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA & LL.B in various streams. The minimum eligibility to appear in the test is 50% marks in the 10+2 examination from any recognized board. 

If the candidate can satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements then he/she will be eligible to appear in the entrance exam conducted by VKSU. Based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance test, VKSU will allot the seats for different UG courses.

• The upper age limit for admission to the LLB program should not be more than 30 years (35 years in the case of SC/ST candidates).
• For admission in the integrated BA-LL.B course, the upper age limit is 20 years (22 years for SC/ST candidates).
• Rounding off & normalization of marks will not be considered by the university for the minimum eligibility requirement.

Candidates applying for MA, M.Com, MCA, MBA & M.Sc programs must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree. For admission into PG courses, students have to qualify for the entrance test conducted by the university. The final admission will be provided based on the entrance test score followed by counseling.

For admission in the Ph.D. program, the Pre-Ph.D. Registration Tests will be conducted by the university which the candidates have to qualify. 

• Marksheets (PG, UG, and 10+2)
• Cast Certificate (if applicable)
• DD of Rs. 700 (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST) in favor of ‘VKSU’ Payable at Ara.
• Send the duly filled application form along with the required fee and documents to the respective PG Department of VKSU, Ara.

The application form for admission into VKSU can be filled out online mode for all the courses, except the B.Ed course, by following the given steps:

1. Candidates should visit the official website of VKSU and click on the ‘Apply Online’ link.
2. After that, select the payment mode by ‘System Generated Challan.
3. Fill the application form and click on the ‘Submit button.
4. Pay the application fee of Rs. 700/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidate through challan to any Central Bank of India branch.
5. Upload Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format.
6. Save the registration number and take the printout of the duly filled application form for future reference.
