VOU Admission 2022 will commence tentatively in the month of February. It is also known as the Venkateshwara Open University is an open university as the name suggests. This means it has no specific entry criteria or minimum requirements. This university provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. These programs are offered as full-time classes, private or part-time collaboration programs with its industry partners. It is a private university that has been established through Arunachal Pradesh State Legislature act to award degrees according to the UGC guidelines. Some of the programs offered by the university are also available online. It is establishing itself as a global institution with state-of-the-art facilities. It has been awarded the “Global Education Skill Summit” at the Indian International Center. For granting admission to its students, the university conducts an entrance examination known as the Venkateshwara Open University Common Entrance Test (VOUCET).

VOU Admission 2022
The VOU offers programs in management, sciences, computer and information, humanities and social science, fine arts, fashion designing, library science, tourism, hospitality, and vocational education. For admission to the University, it conducts VOU Common Entrance Test (VOUCET) following which an applicant has to appear for a counselling session or discussion.
Selection Process
- The selection of students is based upon the entrance test results of the VOUCET examination carried out by the university and the eligibility criteria specified for the undergraduate or graduate students.
- Students will be admitted based on merit i.e. their scores in class 10 and 12 examinations and graduation level.
- Except these, students might be called for a group discussion or will be asked to attend a counselling session.

How to Apply for VOU Admission 2022?
Some of the following steps to be kept in mind while filling up the Application Form of VOU 2022.
- The first step in the process of application is to collect the application form along with the prospectus. This can be availed by paying an application fee of Rs. 500 in cash or through check.
- A counsellor will be available at the admission desk to assist the students regarding any queries.
- Students will have to submit their original documents along with the fee for maintaining a complete file.
- Once the documents submitted by the student have been verified and the complete fees have been received by the university, they will issue an enrollment number.
- According to the University guidelines, students will be asked to fill an undertaking for anti-ragging.
Documents to be attached with VOU Application Form
All the documents along with the application must be sent to the Registrar, Venkateshwara Open University, Lekhi Village, Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh or must be submitted directly to the University. The following documents must be submitted along with the completed application form for VOU admission:
- Photocopies of certificates and mark sheets of class 10, 12 examinations and graduation. This is the most important document that will be required to evaluate the application.
- The students will also have to present original copies of transfer certificates and character certificates from all previously attended institutions.
- Four copies of the applicant’s photo along with residence proof, either aadhar card or passport shall also be required.
- Declaration of the student stating that all the information provided are correct and appropriate action will be taken against the applicant in case any information is found incorrect.
- Some students will also have to submit migration certificates, caste certificate and domicile certificates if applicable.
