Major Changes This Year

No major change has been officially announced yet for the CBSE Class 1 2027-28 syllabus or NCERT book structure. The current 2026-27 curriculum is in effect and no revision circular has been issued by CBSE for Class 1 specifically. However, it is expected — based on the ongoing NEP 2020 implementation trajectory — that CBSE may introduce further foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) aligned updates to Class 1 content in the 2027-28 curriculum.
