The college offers a various courses at undergraduate level for the duration of three-year degree programs in the fields of Arts, Science and Commerce. It offers both regular and Honours courses in the said disciplines. Bhagini Nivedita College currently has eight regular B.A. courses, four B.A. Home Science specializations, two B.A. Honours courses, one B.Sc. program in Physics, two B.Sc. Honours courses and a regular B.Com program under the UG wing. All admissions are done strictly on the basis of last qualifying exam merit as per merit list/ cut off announced by the university. Sister Nevedita College helps students belonging to SC-SC-PWD categories receive scholarships from the States they reside. Applicants have to get the prescribed form from the college. The college offers various scholarships and fee concessions to meritorious students from financially weaker backgrounds. The Universitty will start its counselling procedure tentatively in the third week of August 2020 as soon as the cut- off for the current year 2020 releases. The candidates will be provided with the institutions for counselling in accordance to their merit and cut-off ranks. The Final selection of the candidate's will be finalized only after counselling. The candidate's will have to present with their original documents for verification and has to be compulsorily be present for Counselling being conducted.

Bhagini Nivedita College was established in honour of Sister Nivedita, a disciple of Swami Vivekanand. She dedicated her entire life for the education and well-being of women in India. This is approximately a 25-year old government college that started its journey in the year 1993. The college is a part of Delhi University.
