BNC UG Admissions 2020 

The college offers a various courses at undergraduate level for the duration of three-year degree programs in the fields of Arts, Science and Commerce. It offers both regular and Honours courses in the said disciplines. Bhagini Nivedita College  currently has eight regular B.A. courses, four B.A. Home Science specializations, two B.A. Honours courses, one B.Sc. program in Physics, two B.Sc. Honours courses and a regular B.Com program under the UG wing. All admissions are done strictly on the basis of last qualifying exam merit as per merit list/ cut off announced by the university. For UG program, candidate with 10+2 examination and minimum 45% marks aggregate and 50% marks in concerned subject are eligible for admissions. Bhagini Nivedita College Application Process 2020 

Bhagini Nivedita College accepts applications from eligible candidates through Delhi University’s common admission process. The candidate's must follow the steps below fo registration: 

  • Candidates wishing to seek admissions to this college must register online by visiting the Delhi University Admission Portal.
  • Candidates must click on the ‘New Applicant Sign Up’ link in order to create a new user account.
  • A valid email-id and phone number will be required for the purpose. The candidate must create his/ her choice of password as per instructions.
  • After successful registration, the applicant must save the information submitted by clicking on the ‘Click here to save this information for future reference’ link.

How to apply for BNC Delhi Admissions 2020? 

Candidates have to follow the steps given below in order to apply for Sister Nevedita College admissions 2020:

  • Candidates may navigate to the homepage and click on the ‘Registered Candidates Sign In’ link located on the right side of the webpage.
  • Using his/ her email id as username and the registered password, the candidate can proceed to login and then click on ‘Apply Now.’
  • The applicant must first enter personal details such as name, DOB, gender, Aadhar Card number etc.
  • Other information such as category, correspondence and permanent address etc. also needs to be filled following which the applicant may click on ‘Next’ to continue further.
  • The next step is entering the applicant’s academic details. Information such as board, roll number etc. must be submitted correctly.
  • Any discrepancy in the information if found later will lead to cancellation of his/ her candidature.
  • In the next step, the applicant will be required to choose his/ her preferred choice of College and program.
  • Multiple selections can be made here with no additional fee to be paid.
  • The next step requires the candidate to enter his/ her bank details.
  • After entering bank details, the candidate is required to upload soft copies of his/ her passport size colour photograph, signature, self-attested photocopy of Class XII mark sheet, self-attested copy of Caste certificate/ Sports certificate, as applicable.
  • Applications without the aforesaid documents won’t be processed any further.
  • Now, the candidate can preview the complete application form and make changes if and as required.
  • After making the requisite amendments, he/ she can proceed for payment of fees.
  • The application fee can be paid using credit/ debit card or internet banking.

Scholarships

Sister Nevedita College helps students belonging to SC-SC-PWD categories receive scholarships from the States they reside. Applicants have to get the prescribed form from the college. The college offers various scholarships and fee concessions to meritorious students from financially weaker backgrounds. Some of the many scholarships that are offered by the college/ university are as follows:

  • Fee Concession & Stipends- 20% of the total fee collected during the year on the basis of result.
  • Student Aid Fund- offered to aid economically weaker and meritorious students
  • SC/ ST Scholarships
  • All India Entrance Scholarship- INR 250 per month for three-year to Honours students who qualify All India Entrance Scholarship.

Counselling 

The Universitty will start its counselling procedure tentatively in the third week of August 2020 as soon as the cut- off for the current year 2020 releases. The candidates will be provided with the institutions for counselling in accordance to their merit and cut-off ranks. The Final selection of the candidate's will be finalized only after counselling. The candidate's will have to present with their original documents for verification and has to be compulsorily be present for Counselling being conducted. 

Reservations 

The university offers the reservation criteria as decided by the Government of India and Delhi University. The candidates have to present the income / category certificate for claiming the reservations. The institute reserves no seats under Management quota.

This is approximately a 25-year old government college that started its journey in the year 1993. The college is a part of Delhi University.
