NIHFW Delhi Courses

National Institute of Health and Family Welfare offers various courses in Medical and Health Management at various levels of graduation, diplomas and PG diplomas. Admission in these courses is on the basis of NEET PG exam. For admission to various courses candidates must fulfil the following criteria: 

  • MD - The candidate must have completed one year Rotating internship  with MBBS. 
  • PG Diploma - The candidate must have done MBBS or BDS OR must be a Public Health worker in any Hospital.

The Final selection will be based on Candidate's merit and academic scores. Candidates must have to secure the minimum cut off marks set by University of Delhi. For more details candidates can refer the table below.

Distance Education

NIHFW Application Process 2020

The Candidates have to register themselves for the Delhi University UG Online Portal for which they wanted to apply. Given below are the steps to follow for admission at NIHFW Application Form: -

  • Candidates must visit the NIHFW Delhi Official Website.
  • Register and create their login credentials
  • After successful registration, the candidates must click on the “Apply Now” button.
  • Fill all the eight sections of the application form correctly.
  • Upload all the documents in the prescribed format and size.
  • The candidates need to cross-check all the details filled by them in the Application form for further verification. If the details are found to be incorrect the form will immediately be rejected. 
  • Pay the application fee through any electronic payment gateway, viz. Net Banking/ Credit/Debit card.

National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW)

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), was established on 9th March, 1977 by the merger of two national level institutions, viz. the National Institute of Health Administration and Education (NIHAE) and the National Institute of Family Planning (NIFP). The NIHFW, an autonomous organization, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, acts as an ‘apex technical institute’ as well as a ‘think tank’ for the promotion of health and family welfare programmes in the country.

The Institute addresses a wide range of issues on health and family welfare from a variety of perspectives through the departments of Communication, Community Health Administration, Education and Training, Epidemiology, Management Sciences, Medical Care and Hospital Administration, Population Genetics and Human Development, Planning and Evaluation, Reproductive Bio-Medicine, Statistics and Demography and Social Sciences.
