CENTAC Dip Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2027
Before applying for the CENTAC Diploma Polytechnic, candidates must check that they meet the eligibility requirements. Candidates who apply for the exam but do not meet the institute's eligibility requirements will have their application denied. The Eligibility Criteria for CENTAC Dip Polytechnic is given as follows:
Educational Qualification –
Regular Admission — Applicants must have passed the SSLC examination or an examination comparable thereto that is acceptable to the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, for regular admission to the first year of the three-year Polytechnic Diploma courses.
Lateral Entry:
Candidates for Diploma in Engineering Courses must have completed the HSC (Academic Stream) or an examination equivalent thereto that is accepted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology as one of the subjects.
For the Diploma in Modern Office Practice Course, you must have an H.Sc. (Academic Stream) or an examination equivalent thereto accepted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with English as a compulsory subject and Accountancy or Elements of Economics or Elements of Commerce as one of the subjects.
Candidates must ensure that they fit in the above specified eligibility criteria before applying for the examination.
