ICSI CSEET 2023 Syllabus: Everything You Need to Know to Crack the Exam

The Company Law Board established the Company Secretaryship course in 1960. The ICSI, which took over the test from the Company Law Board in 1968, was established in 1968. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India or ICSI was thereafter made a statutory entity under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980, with effect from January 1, 1981. The CS Executive Entrance Test or CSEET is a prerequisite for admission to the CS Executive programme. The CSEET 2023 is a test for students interested in pursuing a career as a company secretary. The CSEET exam assesses your ability to work as a Company Secretary. Students who have completed their 12th grade (in any subject) are eligible to take the CSEET. Every student must pass the CSEET exam in order to enroll in the Company Secretary programme.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India administers the "ICSI CSEET," a qualifying entrance exam for admission in the CS Executive Program. This test is done four times a year, primarily in January, May, July, and November. This is a national examination. The exam will be conducted in English, with the goal of training and certifying applicants who want to become Company Secretaries. The CS Examination 2023 has three levels, each of which requires p.assing three exams:
  • The Foundation Program 
  • Program for Executives
  • Professional Development Program

ICSI CSEET 2023 Syllabus

The approved syllabus for CSEET 2023 is provided by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The syllabus can be found on the ICSI's official website. Candidates should review the CSEET Syllabus 2023 before beginning their preparation. The syllabus contains comprehensive information about the papers covered, as well as subjects and associated subtopics addressed in each paper. On January 8, 2023, the CSEET exam for the January session will be held.
Candidates must get a minimum of 40% on each paper and a total of 50% on all papers in order to pass the CSEET exam. Candidates who pass the CSEET test will be eligible to take the CS Executive 2023 exams.
The total number of papers in the CSEET 2023 exam is four. The CSEET Syllabus divides each paper into divisions based on the units covered. Candidates should read through the units and look over the curriculum carefully.The first three exams of the CSEET Syllabus and Exam Pattern, on the other hand, will each contain 35 questions, while the fourth exam, which will cover current events, will have 15 questions. Candidates must score at least 50 percent in the aggregate and 40 percent in each paper out of a total of 200 points to be judged passable. 
In total, there are four papers in the CSEET 2023 test. According to the units covered, each paper in the CSEET Syllabus 2023 is divided into sections. Candidates should read the units and the syllabus thoroughly. The first three papers of the CSEET Syllabus and Exam Pattern, on the other hand, will each contain 35 questions, while the fourth exam, which covers current events, will have 15 questions. Candidates must score at least 50% in the aggregate and 40% in each paper out of a total of 200 points to be judged passable.
