Tripura TET 2020 Application Form is expected to be released in the month of September 2020. Tripura TET 2020 will be conducted by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT). This exam aims to recruit candidates for the post of teachers at the primary level (Class I to V) and upper primary level (class VI to VIII) in Tripura State only. The exam is conducted once every year at the State Level. Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 will be conducted in two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Also, the candidates who want to work as a primary teacher must clear Paper I (Class I to V) and Paper-II (class V to VIII) for the upper primary teacher post. Tripura TET 2020 Application Form

TRBT will release the Tripura TET application form 2020 in September 2020. Some important points related to T-TET 2020 Registration are mentioned below:
  • Before proceeding with the registration process, candidates must ensure their eligibility for the test.
  • The application can be submitted through online mode only and will be available on Tripura TET official website (TRBT).
  • Candidates have to enter their personal, academic, contact, educational details while filling the online application form.
  • They need to upload the scanned image of the latest passport size photograph (Size: up to 100 KB) and full signature (Size: up to 60 KB) in JPG/JPEG format only.
  • Uploading of any irrelevant photograph/signature will invite cancellation of candidature and appropriate action. 
  • Candidates have to choose Language – II (Second Language), either “Bengali” or “Kokborok” for both Paper I and Paper II. Language once was chosen cannot be changed.
  • Choose Subject, either “Social Studies” or “Mathematics and Science” for T-TET 2020 Paper-II only. Subject once chosen cannot be changed.
  • After filling all the details asked in the application form, make the payment of application fee to complete the registration process.

Tripura TET 2020 Application Fee

Mode of Payment: The T-TET 2020 application fee can be paid through online mode only via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking facility of any leading bank.
  • The application fee neither be refunded nor transferable.
  • No other mode of payment except online mode will be accepted.
  • The amount of fee does not include the bank charges.

NOTE: If a candidate wants to apply for both the Papers (I & II) of Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 need to submit the separate application form for both the papers and also need to pay the separate application fee for each paper.

Tripura TET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants can go through the Tripura TET 2020 eligibility given below for both the Papers (1 & 2) to check their eligibility before filling Tripura TET Online Application Form:

T-TET Eligibility for Paper 1

Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications for T-TET Paper-I:

  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06) by whatever name known.   OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name is known, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06).   OR                                     
  • At least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).   OR
  • Minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).   OR
  • Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06) by whatever name known.   OR
  • Graduation and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with at least 50% marks. (Further, a candidate having B. Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution with 50% marks in Graduation shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher will mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks.

T-TET Eligibility for Paper 2

Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications for T-TET Paper-II:

  • Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06) by whatever name known. OR
  • Graduation, Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education) with 50% marks.  OR
  • Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) with at least 45% marks, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.  OR
  • At least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).  OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.   

Tripura TET 2020 Exam Pattern

All the information related to the Tripura TET 2020 exam pattern is given below. Scheme of the examination will give a clear idea of the structure of Tripura Eligibility Test exam:

  • Mode of Exam: Exam will be conducted in Pen Paper Test (Offline).
  • Time Duration: Candidates will get 150 minutes (two and a half hours) for each Paper (1&2) separately.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Number of Questions: Total 150 questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and there will be NO negative marking.
  • Medium: Question papers will be in English and Bengali only (other than language Papers). 
  • Total Questions: TET exam will be a total of 150 Marks.

Tripura TET 2020 Admit Card

Teachers Recruitment Board will issue the Tripura TET 2020 Admit card in the last week of September 2020. All the information about T-TET Hall Ticket is given below:

  • Candidates can download their hall ticket from the official website of TRBT.
  • To download the admit card, candidates will require their Registration Number and Password.
  • After downloading, take a printout of the admit card from the link that will be available in the Applicant's Home Page.
  • If any discrepancy found in the admit card the same should be notified to the examination Board by the first week of October 2020 positively.
  • Candidates have to carry one valid ID proof along with the admit card for verification at the time of examination.
  • Separate admit cards will be available for the candidates applying for both T-TET Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Tripura TET 2020 Exam Centres

Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) will conduct Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 in the state of Tripura only.  T-TET exam centres can be in any of the 8 districts of Tripura. List of districts of Tripura state in given hereby:

Tripura TET 2020 Answer Key

Tripura TET 2020 answer key will be displayed by the TRBT on the official website after the commencement of exams. Candidates can go through the tentative answer key and if they have any doubt they can submit their challenge in the prescribed format. Procedure to be followed while submitting the challenge for tentative answer key is given below:

  • Candidates have to submit the challenge to any answer keys, if in case there is any doubt, to the office of TRBT within the stipulated period.
  • Applicants have to pay the challenge fee through Demand Draft (DD) amounting Rs. 500 per question drew in favour of Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura.
  • Also, the separate challenge should be submitted for each question along with the requisite challenge fee.
  • If a candidate is challenging two questions than he/she has to submit two separate DD of Rs. 500 for each question challenged.
  • If a challenge found valid then the Demand Draft will be returned to the candidate concerned but if not, then the amount of the Demand Draft will be forfeited. 
  • Challenges submit by the candidates through online mode will not be accepted and no online communication to this end will be valid.
  • The final answer key will be uploaded after taking the appropriate views of experts about the received challenges.

Tripura TET 2020 Result

Candidates can check Tripura TET result once it is announced by Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura. The Tripura TET result will be announced after the commencement of tests. The result will be uploaded on the TRBT official website. Candidates who will obtain passing marks will be declared as qualified, and they to undergo verification of certificates.

Tripura TET 2020 Cutoff

Candidates who will secure the given marks will be considered as qualified for the exam. Tripura TET 2020 cutoff for different categories is given hereby:

Note: SC/ST/PH candidate will get a relaxation up to 5% in qualifying marks (55% marks required) as per decision of the Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. 
Certificate Verification

TRBT will verify the certificates of the candidates who will qualify the TET exam. Candidates need to carry the original copy of the required certificates along with the one set of self-attested photocopy of all certificates documents and one of the photo identity cards at the time of certificate verification. List of certificates required is given below:

  • SC/ST/PH certificate (if any)
  • Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) certificate
  • Academic and Professional Qualification mark sheet/certificates.
  • Admit Card of matriculation (as proof of age)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • T-TET 2020 Admit Card 
  • Acknowledgement Page of T-TET 2020
  • It is mandatory for In-service candidate to produce no-objection certificate from the concerned employer at the time of certificates/documents verification or else her/his candidature will be cancelled.

Teachers' Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) is an initiative by Government of Tripura which conducts TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) every year. The main purpose of the exam is to select candidates for teaching at Elementry Level( Class 1- 8) and Graduate Teachers for senior secondary level( Class 9-12). The office of TRBT is located in the premises of  State  council of Educational Research and Training(SCERT) at Kunjaban,Agartala.
