Tripura TET 2023 Important Dates

Tripura TET 2023 Admit Card

Teachers Recruitment Board will issue the Tripura TET Admit card 2023 in the last week of September 2023. All the information about T-TET Hall Ticket is given below:

• Candidates can download their hall ticket from the official website of TRBT.
• To download the admit card, candidates will require their Registration Number and Password.
• After downloading, take a printout of the admit card from the link that will be available on the Applicant's Home Page.
• If any discrepancy is found in the admit card the same should be notified to the examination Board by the first week of October 2023 positively.
• Candidates have to carry one valid ID proof along with the admit card for verification at the time of examination.
• Separate admit cards will be available for the candidates applying for both T-TET Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Tripura TET 2023 Exam Centres

Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) will conduct Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 in the state of Tripura only.  T-TET exam centres can be in any of the 8 districts of Tripura. A list of districts of Tripura state is given hereby:

Tripura TET 2023 Exam Pattern

All the information related to the Tripura TET exam pattern 2023 is given below. The scheme of the examination will give a clear idea of the structure of the Tripura Eligibility Test exam:

• Mode of Exam: Exam will be conducted in Pen Paper Test (Offline).
• Time Duration: Candidates will get 150 minutes (two and a half hours) for each Paper (1&2) separately.
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Number of Questions: A total of 150 questions will be asked in the exam.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and there will be NO negative marking.
• Medium: Question papers will be in English and Bengali only (other than language Papers). 
• Total Questions: TET exam will be a total of 150 Marks.

Tripura TET 2023 Answer Key

Tripura TET answer key 2023 will be displayed by the TRBT on the official website after the commencement of exams. Candidates can go through the tentative answer key and if they have any doubt they can submit their challenge in the prescribed format. Procedure to be followed while submitting the challenge for tentative answer key is given below:

• Candidates have to submit the challenge to any answer keys, if in case there is any doubt, to the office of TRBT within the stipulated period.
• Applicants have to pay the challenge fee through Demand Draft (DD) amounting to Rs. 500 per question drew in favor of the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura.
• Also, a separate challenge should be submitted for each question along with the requisite challenge fee.
• If a candidate is challenging two questions then he/she has to submit two separate DD of Rs. 500 for each question challenged.
• If a challenge is found valid then the Demand Draft will be returned to the candidate concerned but if not, then the amount of the Demand Draft will be forfeited. 
• Challenges submit by the candidates through online mode will not be accepted and no online communication to this end will be valid.
• The final answer key will be uploaded after taking the appropriate views of experts about the received challenges.

Tripura TET 2023 Result

Candidates can check the Tripura TET result 2023 once it is announced by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura. The Tripura TET result will be announced after the commencement of tests. The result will be uploaded on the TRBT official website. Candidates who will obtain passing marks will be declared as qualified, and they to undergo verification of certificates.

Tripura TET 2023 Cutoff

Candidates who will secure the given marks will be considered as qualified for the exam. Tripura TET cutoff for different categories is given hereby:

TRBT will verify the certificates of the candidates who will qualify for the TET exam. Candidates need to carry the original copy of the required certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopy of all certificates documents and one of the photo identity cards at the time of certificate verification. The list of certificates required is given below:

• SC/ST/PH certificate (if any)
• Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) certificate
• Academic and Professional Qualification mark sheet/certificates.
• Admit Card of matriculation (as proof of age)
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• T-TET 2023 Admit Card 
• Acknowledgement Page of T-TET 2023
• An In-service candidate must produce a no-objection certificate from the concerned employer at the time of certificates/documents verification or else her/his candidature will be canceled. 

Tripura TET 2023 Application Form

Some important points related to T-TET 2023 Registration are mentioned below:

• Before proceeding with the registration process, candidates must ensure their eligibility for the test.
• The application can be submitted through online mode only and will be available on Tripura TET official website (TRBT).
• Candidates have to enter their personal, academic, contact, educational details while filling the online application form.
• They need to upload the scanned image of the latest passport size photograph (Size: up to 100 KB) and full signature (Size: up to 60 KB) in JPG/JPEG format only.
• Uploading any irrelevant photograph/signature will invite the cancellation of candidature and appropriate action. 
• Candidates have to choose Language – II (Second Language), either “Bengali” or “Kokborok” for both Paper I and Paper-II. Language once was chosen cannot be changed.
• Choose Subject, either “Social Studies” or “Mathematics and Science” for T-TET 2023 Paper-II only. Subjects once chosen cannot be changed.
• After filling all the details asked in the application form, make the payment of the application fee to complete the registration process.

Tripura TET 2023 Application Fee

• The application fee neither be refunded nor transferable.
• No other mode of payment except online mode will be accepted.
• The amount of the fee does not include the bank charges.

Tripura TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants can go through the Tripura TET eligibility 2023 given below for both the Papers (1 & 2) to check their eligibility before filling Tripura TET Online Application Form:

T-TET Eligibility for Paper 1

Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications for T-TET Paper-I:

• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06) by whatever name known.   OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name is known, by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06).   OR                                     
• At least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).   OR
• Minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).   OR
• Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06) by whatever name known.   OR
• Graduation and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with at least 50% marks. (Further, a candidate having B. Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution with 50% marks in Graduation shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher will mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.

T-TET Eligibility for Paper 2

Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications for T-TET Paper-II:

• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2005-06) by whatever name known. OR
• Graduation, Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education) with 50% marks.  OR
• Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) with at least 45% marks, by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.  OR
• At least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).  OR
• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

About Teachers' Recruitment Board, Tripura

Teachers' Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) is an initiative by the Government of Tripura which conducts TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) every year. The main purpose of the exam is to select candidates for teaching at Elementry Level( Class 1- 8) and Graduate Teachers for senior secondary level( Class 9-12). The office of TRBT is located on the premises of the State Council of Educational Research and Training(SCERT) at Kunjaban, Agartala. The Board Panel consists of the Chairman, Secretary, Three members, Controller of Examination, and other staff members. Approximately, 1 Lakh candidates apply for the exam.
