TS LPCET 2023 Syllabus is released by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Hyderabad. Telangana State Lateral Polytechnic Common Entrance Test is a state-conducted examination to nominate candidates admission in various Polytechnic Institutions/Colleges of the Telangana State.  A syllabus will help the candidates to know how to go about preparing for the exam. Given below is the syllabus for TS LPCET:

Mathematics Syllabus

Algebra
Logarithms: Definition of logarithm and its properties, natural and common logarithms; the meaning of
e and exponential function, logarithm as a function and its graphical representation– Solve some simple problems.
 
Partial Fractions: Rational, proper and improper fractions of polynomials.
 
Matrices and Determinants: Definition of matrix, types of matrices - examples, algebra of matrices - equality of two matrices, sum, difference, scalar multiplication and product of matrices. Transpose of a Matrix Symmetric, Skew symmetric matrices - Minor, cofactor of an element - Determinant of a square matrix
up to 3rd order - Laplace’s expansion, properties of determinants. Singular and non -singular matrices - Adjoint and multiplicative inverse of a square matrix – related problems.
Trigonometry
Compound angles: Formulae of Sin (A±B), Cos(A±B), Tan (A±B), Cot (A±B), and related identities with problems- Derive the values of sin150, cos150, sin750, cos750, tan 150, tan750 etc. -Derive identities like sin(A+B) sin(A-B) = sin2A – sin2B etc.
 
Multiple and sub-multiple angles: Trigonometric ratios of multiple angles 2A, 3A and submultiples angle A/2 with problems.
 Algebra and Trigonometry
Transformations: Transformation of products into sums or differences and vice versa simple problems - Solve problems by applying these formulae to sum or difference or product of three or more terms.
 
Inverse trigonometric functions: Define inverses of six trigonometric functions along with their domains and ranges - Derive relations between inverse trigonometric functions so that given A=sin-1x, express angle A in terms of other inverse trigonometric functions- with examples.
 
Solution of Simultaneous equations using Matrices & Determinants.: System of linear equations in 3 Variables - Solutions by Cramer’s rule, Matrix inversion method –Examples- Elementary row operations on Matrices-Gauss - Jordan method to solve a system of equations in 3 unknowns.
 
Solutions of triangles: Solve a triangle when (i) three sides (SSS) (ii) two sides and an included angle (SAS) (iii) one side and two angles are given (SAA)- Simple

Qualifications Terms of TS LPPET 2023


Nationality and Home
1. The candidate must be of Indian nationality.

2. The applicant must be a resident of Telangana district only and must meet the requirements of the Local / Non-Local environment as set out in the Telangana District Education Institutions or 1974 as amended later.

Qualifications of Education
Telugu Pandit:
You must have a Telugu Graduate Degree as an optional / Graduate Degree in Telugu Literature / Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) Telugu / Post Graduation Degree in Telugu with a minimum mark of 50% (SC / ST / BC / PH -45% Marks) from a recognized university / college.

Hindi Pandit:
You must have a Hindi Degree in Hindi as an optional course / Graduation in Hindi Literature / Bachelor in Oriental Language (BOL) in Hindi / Post Graduation Degree in Hindi with 50% marks (SC / ST / BC / PH -45% Marks) from a recognized university / college.

Urdu Pandit:
You must have a Urdu Degree as one of the optional subjects / Graduation in Urdu Literature / Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Urdu / Post Graduation Degree in Urdu with a minimum mark of 50% (SC / ST / BC / PH -45% Marks) from a recognized university / college.

Age Limit
Candidates must be 19 years old from July 01-07-2023. There is no age limit.
