RPF Constable Recruitment 2020 Application Form

• The candidates must apply online on the portal of the RPF Constable recruitment only.
• The female candidates who have applied for the previous year but did not qualify the exam will be able to apply this year also by login with the previous registration number.
• Fresh candidates have to apply by entering their basic details like name, Date of Birth and parent’s name, Aadhaar number(Optional), State/UT, Category, Education Board, 10th/Matric Roll number, year of passing 10th/Matric, mobile number and email-ID and then submit for registration.

• An applicant should be an Indian citizen.
• Those who have passed the class X or equivalent exam from a recognized board shall only be eligible to apply.

• General Awareness Syllabus – This section will have questions to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society; to test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observations and experiences as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to Indian History, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports, General Science etc.

• Arithmetic Syllabus –  Number systems, whole numbers, percentages, ratio and proportion, decimal and fractions and relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of table and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and proportion etc.

RPF Constable Recruitment 2020 Admit Card

The authority will release the RPF Constable Recruitment 2020 admit card on the official website. 

• The candidates will have to download their e-call letter from the web portal.
• An SMS & email will be sent to those whose form will be accepted, for the admit card release.
• Eligible candidates will be able to download the e-call letter from the Indian Railways website about 10 days before the date of the CBT/PET/PMT/Document Verification(as applicable).
• The authority will not send the call letter via post.
• The exam admit card will have the details like date, venue, reporting time, attendance, the capture of biometric details, terminal/seat allotment etc. 
• No candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam without the e-call letter.
• One must retain the admit card till the recruitment process gets over.

RPF Constable Recruitment Result

The authority will release the result of the CBT online on the official website.

• A pdf form will be released in which all the candidate’s name will be mentioned who will be called for PMT, PET and document verification.
• It will be necessary to obtain 35% marks for all category candidates except SC/ST(30% marks by SC and ST candidates) to qualify in the CBT.
• In cases of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e. the senior one will be given a priority than the junior one.

Document Verification

Those who will qualify the PET and PMT will be only be called for documents verification.

• The selected candidates will have to visit the counselling centre with all the mandatory documents in original.
• All Certificates should be either in English or Hindi only. In case the certificates are not in any other language, self-attested translated version (in Hindi/English) should be produced.
• Minorities include Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians (Parsis) Minority candidates claiming waiver of examination fee will be required to furnish ‘minority category declaration’ affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper that they belong to any of the above minority communities, failing which their candidature will be rejected.
• Candidates who do not appear for document verification will not be considered in the final selection, irrespective of their performance in written examination and PET/PMT.
