MAFSU Admission 2023

• Candidates can have admission to UG courses through MAFSUCET/ MHT CET/  ICAR AIEEA

MAFSU BVSc, B.F.Sc & B.Tech Admission 2023

The University offers various Undergraduate courses including BVSc, B.F.Sc and B.Tech. for full time. The eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have done 10+2 exams with a minimum of 55% in the science stream with the relevant discipline. The selection of BVSc is based on the NEET UG score. Candidates can check the selection criteria and eligibility for various UG courses:

• An entrance examination is conducted by the University for admissions in B.Tech & B.F.Sc. during the second week of July.
• For NRIs studying from an Indian board, NEET is compulsory, whereas if they are studying from a foreign board, they may be exempted from this.

MAFSU MVSc & M.Tech Admission 2023

The University offers two Postgraduate courses namely MVSc and M.Tech. for full time. The duration of the course is two years. The eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. The selection is based on an Entrance test conducted by University followed by an interview. The selected students need to appear for counselling rounds in person along with required documents. Note:

• An entrance examination is conducted by the University for admission in PG courses during the second week of July.
• Selection may also be subject to performance in an interview/group discussion conducted at the discretion of the University.
• Reservation / sponsored seats are by Government and UGC regulations. In general, there are no seats for the management quota.

MAFSU Ph.D. and Diploma Admission 2023

MAFSU offers Ph.D. in Veterinary Science for 3 years with an intake capacity of 69 students. It offers a Diploma course in Lower Education and Dairy Production with a maximum intake capacity of 60/Affiliate non-granted private diploma college. The eligibility criteria for Ph.D. candidates are Master'Degree In the relevant discipline and for the diploma is that the candidates must have SSC Passed. The course duration of the diploma course is 2 years. The selection criteria for Ph.D. are based on the Entrance test conducted by MAFSU, Nagpur. Candidates can follow these steps to fill the form of MAFSU:

• Go to the official website of the University and click on the admission tab
• In the running notices on the website, a link will appear with a notice for the various courses as they are opened.
• Click on the relevant course, and follow the guidelines to fill in all the required information.

Application Fee

• The application fee for MAFSU is Rs. 600/- for general candidates, and with a 50% reduction (i.e. Rs. 300/-) for reserved candidates.
• Applicants need to pay Rs 1000/- as an application fee if they are applying for M.V.Sc. Degree course (Rs. 700/- in case of reserved category applicants).
• The candidate from states other than Maharashtra shall have to pay Rs.1000/-.

The candidates shall upload the following original/legible self-attested documents while filling the online application form. Before submission of the application form, the candidates should ensure that the uploaded documents are visible. 

• Mark sheet / Grade card of the qualifying examination.
• NEET-UG-2023 Mark sheet
• School / College (Last attended) Leaving Certificate.
• Domicile Certificate/ Residence certificate.
• Caste Certificate if required
• Caste Validity Certificate (CVC) issued by the Competent Authority.
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate
• Economically Weaker Section Certificate
• ‘No-Objection Certificate’ from the Employer in case of Inservice
  Candidate.

MAFSU Entrance Test Result & Merit List

Candidates can check the result/merit list for MAFSU Admission 2023 by following the steps given below:

• Click on the Results.

Reservation Criteria

• 70% of seats will be reserved of regional quota i.e. (R-Quota) and 30% will be served for state quota i.e. (S-Quota) candidates.
• 15% of the total intake of each Veterinary College shall be filled by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI).

• 15% seats will be reserved based on All India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR New Delhi

• 10 seats over and above the regular intake are reserved for NRI/FN/PIO candidates.

MAFSU Scholarships
