Rani Channamma University is a public university in Belgaum, established in 2010 by the Karnataka government. The Karnatak University KRCPG Center of Karnatak University, Dharwad was located in Belagavi until the establishment of Rani Channamma University, in 2010. The said Karnatak University PG Center was established at Belagavi in 1982 to provide an opportunity for higher education students to improve their access to the North Karnataka State.
