RCUB UG Admission 2023

The Rani Channamma University offers several UG courses in B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.A, B.C.A, B.S.W, and Integrated BA/B.Sc. in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Candidates are required to pass at the 10+2 level from any recognized board, i.e. CBSE / ISC / State Board or the equivalent. RCUB PG Admission 2023

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be deemed eligible for admission to this university.

• A pass (minimum 50%) at the undergraduate level from any recognized university in the country. The course must have been in a related field, and the viability of an acquired degree in terms of its applicability to the subject of the Master’s degree is at the discretion of the University.
• Relaxation may be given to reserved categories as per the regulations of the Government.

The selection process varies based on different courses.

• Certain courses under the university may have interviews conducted as part of the process before finalizing the list of selected candidates.
• For certain courses, such as MCA, MSW, and Masters in Library and Information Science, may include an entrance test, conducted by the university.
• Admission to other courses is done based on merit.
• MBA admission is also based on MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, KARNATAKA PGCET exams

RCUB M.Phil And Ph.D. Admission 2023

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be deemed eligible for admission to this university.

• A pass (minimum 55%) in at least a Master’s level degree from any recognized university in the country. The course must have been in the subject applied for, or in a related field as acceptable at the discretion of the university.
• A 5% relaxation may be given to reserved categories as per the regulations of the Government, i.e. 50% minimum requirement.

The selection process is based mainly on the performance in the entrance examination conducted by the University.

• The entrance test has a maximum score of 100 marks, with questions covering general areas, as well as subject-specific and research-oriented questions.
• In general, 40% is based on research methodology and the remaining 60% on the core subject.
• The test is for 120 minutes and is a multiple-choice test by nature.
• Candidates who obtain satisfactory marks in this entrance test will also have to participate in a personal interview.

RCUB Application Process 2023

Candidates who wish to apply to this University must do so through the Online Admission and Student Information System (OASIS), the link to which is available on the official university website. The following steps can be followed to apply for the courses offered by RCUB.

• Visit the RCUB official website of the university and go to the OASIS portal.
• Enter the college code, User name, and password. By default, the username will be “admin” and the password will be the college code.
• Change your password immediately after login into the system.
• Enter all the required information in the application form thereafter, and proceed to generate the Challan.
• The cost for prospectus and application form for courses with entrance tests is Rs 500 and Rs 300 for other courses.
• The printed admission form (three copies) must be sent along with the DD or Challan to the Registrar of the University, Belgavi.

Counselling

The List of Shortlisted candidates will be displayed department-wise on the official website of the University along with the dates of counselling to attend for the admission process at the main campus of the University. The students attending the counselling process have to bring the duplicate set of Admission-application-form or acknowledgment along with all ORIGINAL educational documents and reservation documents if claiming and the specified admission fees amount which has to be paid after the counselling process.
