Hyderabad University Admission 2021 is based on entrance exams conducted by university. Hyderabad University entrance exam 2021 dates are yet to be announced. Hyderabad University provides admission in various Postgraduate courses including five-Year Integrated Master’s Degree in the field of Science, Medical Science, Life Science, Social Science, Performing Arts, Management, Humanities and Engineering. Hyderabad University also provides admission in M.Phil & PhD courses in the various discipline at Doctoral Level. University conducts its entrance test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates in Integrated MA, Integrated M.Sc and MA, M.Sc & MPH courses. Admission procedure for different courses is given below:
  • Admission in  Integrated M.Tech (Computer Science) is on the basis of candidate's score in JEE Main followed by counselling (JoSAA).
  • Hyderabad University conducts an entrance test for GATE qualified candidates, for admission in M.Tech Course.
  • Candidates can also apply for Integrated M.Tech (Computer Science) on the basis of their score in JEE Main.
  • For admission in MBA programme, CAT exam qualifiers have to appear in GD and PI conducted by the university.

Hyderabad University MBA Admission 2021 (CAT 2020 Score)

The School of Management Studies (SMS) at the University of Hyderabad offers the two-year full time MBA Programme. Admission Announcement for 23rd Batch - MBA Programme 2021-22 Academic Session is released.
Students who wish to apply for admission to the MBA programme at the University of Hyderabad for the 2021-22 Batch:
  • Qulification Criteria: Candidates should have completed a minimum of three year bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) with 60% in any discipline in an institution recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE/UGC, by June 2021.
  • Candidates completing their final examinations by June, 2021 can also apply.
  • CAT 2020 Score: Admission will be based on CAT - 2020 score. So candidates are advised to appear and take the CAT - 2020, scheduled on 29 th November 2020.
  • Application Link: Should apply online at the University of Hyderabad indicating the CAT Registration No. and Test Centre Code before 15th January, 2021 along with the necessary application fees. at official website: acad.uohyd.ac.in/mba21.html
  • How to Apply: The Prospectus can also be downloaded from the University’s website at acad.uohyd.ac.in. The application form, can be filled online as per the instructions mentioned.
  • Group Discussion and Interview: Candidates short-listed for Group Discussion and Interview will be notified in the month of February 2021, based on their percentile scores obtained in the CAT Test 2020.
  • Admissions will be finalized by the end of March 2021.

Hyderabad University Admission 2021 Application Form

The University of Hyderabad will release the application form of entrance examination for admission in various courses in online mode. For registration, candidates must have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number. Applicants have to fill the separate application form for each course in online mode. After filling the application form candidates have to pay the registration fee that varies according to the category of the candidate:

  • General candidates: Rs. 600/-
  • EWS candidates: Rs. 550/-
  • OBC candidates: Rs. 400/-
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs. 275/-

University of Hyderabad Admission Entrance Exam Pattern 2021

Given below is the exam pattern for the Hyderabad University admission test pattern:
  • Total marks – 100
  • Medium – English
  • Duration – 2 hours
  • Type of questions – Multiple Choice Questions.
Note:
  • For PhD / M.Phil program – the entrance test is of 80 Maks and consists of two parts Part A and Part B.
    • 50% of the questions in Part A is based on Research Methodology and half of the questions in part B is generally asked from specific subjects.
    • Part A of the entrance test is of 25 marks and one mark will be awarded for each question 0.33 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
    • There are objective type questions in Part B. Marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

University of Hyderabad Admission 2021 Admit Card

Candidates can download the Hyderabad University admit cards from the official website. The aspirants have to enter application number, date of birth, mobile number & email id to download the hall ticket. Candidates have to carry the admit card on the day of the examination along with an identity proof. Authority will not permit candidates to sit in the entrance exam without the hall tickets. The admit card must be preserved for future use as well.

The admit card contains all the relevant information such as the candidate's name, test venue, details of the test venue, subject code, candidate's photo, candidate signature and some general instructions that a candidate must follow during the examination. The University entrance exam admit card can be checked at the time of the test and also at the time of the personal interview. 

University of Hyderabad Admission 2021 Result

The result of the Hyderabad University entrance exam will be announced after the successful completion of the entrance exam. The result will be uploaded on the university official website i.e. acad.uohyd.ac.in. After the result declaration, qualified candidates will have to attend further admission process.

Issue of digital Degree Certificates from (NAD) National Academic Depository

National Academy Depository (NAD) is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resources (MHRD) Education Ministry, Government of India to facilitate digital issuance, storage, access and verification of academic awards issued by academic institutions. 
  • NAD is an initiative under "Digital India" theme towards digital enablment of the education records. As per the directions of the UGC and MHRD, University of Hyderbad has enrolled into NAD and moving a step forward in the digital initiatuves UoH has discontinued issuing of academic certificates in hard format copy
  • In the view of the above, it is brought to the notice of all concerned that, the degree certificates, provisional certificates and grade sheets issued by the University of Hyderbad from 2019 onwards will be in digital format only.
