University of Hyderabad Admission 2020: Application Form (Available), Eligibility

University of Hyderabad  Application Form last date is 03 May 2020. Hyderabad University provides admission in various Postgraduate courses including five-Year Integrated Master’s Degree in the field of Science, Medical Science, Life Science, Social Science, Performing Arts, Management, Humanities and Engineering. Hyderabad University also provides admission in M.Phil & Ph.D. courses in various discipline at Doctoral Level. University conducts its entrance test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates in Integrated MA, Integrated M.Sc and MA, M.Sc & MPH courses. Admission procedure for different courses is given below:
  • Admission in  Integrated M.Tech (Computer Science) is on the basis of candidate's score in JEE Main followed by counselling (JoSAA).
  • Hyderabad University conducts an entrance test for GATE qualified candidates, for admission in M.Tech Course.
  • Candidates can also apply for Integrated M.Tech (Computer Science) on the basis of their score in JEE Main.
  • For admission in MBA programme, CAT exam qualifiers have to appear in GD and PI conducted by university.

Admission form to the University has been released by UOH for all the eligible candidates. Candidates can fill the application form for 5 years integrated M.Sc, M.Tech, M.phil and PhD courses and can take admission through a national level entrance examination. University of Hyderabad Admission 2020 Application Form

University of Hyderabad has released the application form of entrance examination for admission in various courses in online mode. For registration, candidates must have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number. Applicants have to fill separate application form for each course in online mode. After filling the application form candidates have to pay the registration fee that varies according to the category of candidate:

University of Hyderabad Application Fee:
  • General candidates: Rs. 600/-
  • EWS candidates: Rs. 550/-
  • OBC candidates: Rs. 400/-
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs. 275/-

UOH Registration fee is to be paid via online payment gateway link provided on the form.

University of Hyderabad Admission 2020 Entrance Exam Pattern

Given below is the exam pattern for the Univeristy of Hyderabad admission test pattern:

  • Total marks – 100
  • Medium – English
  • Duration – 2 hours
  • Type of questions – Multiple Choice Questions.
Note:
  • For PhD / M.Phil program – the entrance test is of 80 Maks and consists of two parts Part A and Part B.
    • 50% of the questions in Part A is based on Research Methodology and half of the questions in part B is generally asked from specific subjects.
    • Part A of the entrance test is of 25 marks and one mark will be awarded for each question 0.33 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
    • There are objective type questions in Part B. Marks will be deducted for every incorrect answers.

University of Hyderabad Admission 2020 Admit Card

Candidates can download the UOH admit cards from the official website. Candidates have to carry the admit card on the day of the examination along with an identity proof. Authority will not permit candidates to sit in the entrance exam without the hall tickets. The admit card must be preserved for future use as well.

The admit card contains all the relevant information such as thecandidate's name, test venue, details of the test venue, subject code, candidate's photo, candidate signature and some general instructions that a candidate must follow during the examination. The University entrance exam admit card can be checked at the time of the test and also at the time of the personal interview. 

University of Hyderabad Admission 2020 Result

The result of the Hyderabad University entrance exam will be announced after the successful completion of the entrance exam. The result will be uploaded on the university official website i.e. acad.uohyd.ac.in. After the result declaration, qualified candidates will have to attend further admission process.
