The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) started the Registration process for the class 10 and 12 Private students appearing for the board exams in 2023 from 28 August 2023. Candidates eligible to appear for the exams in 2023 can check the registration related details here. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Admit Card for Private Candidates appearing in the Board Examination 2023. CBSE Online Private Application Form 2023

  • Candidates information who have appeared in the Board examinations took place in 2023 will be auto-generated in the online system. Candidates of 2023 (or earlier) will need to submit the information on the online application form. i.e. https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/pvtform/
  • Put the correct combination of your Roll number, School number and Centre number (as given in your mark sheet) of Board Examination.
  • The candidate will be required to provide mobile no., email ID in the correct format and correct postal address. Phone no. should be of 10 digits and should contain numbers only.
  • Candidates need to upload scanned jpg files of their Photographs and signature not exceeding 40 KB in size.
  • The code number of subject and medium should be filled very carefully, after comparing with earlier marks statements, if available. Candidate filling medium as English will be getting question papers only in English medium. However, candidate filling medium as Hindi will be given bilingual question papers i.e. in Hindi and English versions. For medium code write (1) for English and (2) for Hindi.
  • Candidates with Benchmark disabilities as defined in the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 will be required to send the copy of the Medical Certificate (Disability Certificate) to the concerned Regional Office within 07 days of submitting the online application form. However, In respect of applicants belonging to remote areas like. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul, and 10 Spiti District and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep and schools in foreign countries the time provided is 15 days grace time in place of 7 days.

General Information for both Class X and XII

  • Examination hall once allotted will be final and no request for change of examination hall will be accepted to. The Board will decide the examination centre based on the current residential address of the applicant.
  • Fresh (New) Roll Number will be allotted by the Board for the candidates appearing in 2023.
  • The candidates will not be allowed to appear with the previous year’s Roll Number.

CBSE Private Candidate Registration 2024-25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) allows students to appear as private candidates for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams. This is an opportunity for students who have dropped out of school, or who have failed the exams in previous years, to complete their education and earn a CBSE certificate.

SUBMISSION OF EXAMINATION FORMS BY PRIVATE CANDIDATES FOR CLASS – X EXAMINATIONS – 2023:

  1. Candidates who have been declared ESSENTIAL REPEAT in 2021.

    Capital Territory of Delhi and has attained the age for appearing in Class X
    on producing reasonable evidence of having difficulty to attend normal
    institutions.

SUBMISSION OF EXAMINATION FORMS BY PRIVATE CANDIDATES FOR CLASS  XII EXAMINATIONS – 2023

Along with the Main Examinations in the month of February/March, CBSE is
also holding the examinations for following categories:-

CBSE Private Candidate Registration 2023 Eligibility Criteria

FOR ALL INDIA SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATION (CLASS X)

  1. FULL SUBJECT
  • The applicant who has been declared as FAIL at the All India Secondary Examination (Class X)

OR

  • The candidate who had finished the regular course of studies and had been allocated Roll No. for appearing at AISSE exam but could not appear for the Class X exam due to medical reasons except short of attendance.

2. IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE

  • One who has passed the examination of the Board in 2019 can apply in 2023 for improving his/her performance in one or more subjects provided he/she should have appeared in the same subjects in the examination take place on March 2019.

3. ADDITIONAL SUBJECT

  • The candidate who has passed Board examination can apply for an additional subject from the list of subjects enclosed, within 06 years of passing the examination(candidates passed in 2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 are only eligible to apply).

4. COMPARTMENT

  • Candidate arranged under the COMPARTMENT category in March 2019 and July 2019 to apply only in the subject in which he/she has been fixed in Compartment. The candidate who has been placed in a compartment in two subjects can opt for appearing in 5/6/7 subjects in which he/she had appeared in March 2019 exams. Such applicant should select his/her category as FAILURE while applying online. The applicant applying under the COMPARTMENT category cannot apply for appearing in an Additional subject together.

CBSE Private Candidate Registration 2023 For Delhi Secondary School Examination (CLASS X)

  1. FULL SUBJECT
  • The candidate who has been declared as FAIL at the Delhi Secondary Examination (Class X).

OR

  • The candidate who had completed a regular course of studies and had been allotted Roll No. for appearing at AISSE exams but could not seem for the Class X examination due to medical reasons except short of attendance.

OR

  • PWD candidate on producing reasonable proof of having difficulty to attend normal institutions in the subjects not involving practical training/examination. A medical certificate, in this case, be sent to the concerned Regional Office.

2. IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE

  • Only such student who has passed the examination of the Board in 2019 can apply in 2023 for improving his/her performance in one or more subjects provided he/she should have appeared in the same subjects in the examination took place on March 2019.

3. ADDITIONAL SUBJECT

  • The candidate who has passed Board examination can apply for an additional subject from the list of subjects enclosed, within 6 years of passing the examination (candidate who has passed in 2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 can apply). However, the candidate is not allowed subject involving practical work.

4. COMPARTMENT

  • Applicant placed under COMPARTMENT category in March 2019 and July 2019 to apply only in the subject in which he/she has been placed in the Compartment. Such student who has been placed in compartment in two subjects may opt for appearing in 5/6/7 subjects in which he/she had appeared in March 2019 exam. The candidate should select his/her category as FAILURE while applying online. Candidate applying under COMPARTMENT category cannot apply for appearing in Additional subject together.

  • CBSE is now taking fees for all activities only via digital payments mode such as Net Banking, Debit/Credit card (both national/ international).
  • No fee shall be taken in offline mode i.e DD/ Postal Order /Money order/ cheque etc. No application will be finalized without the fee.

  • Admit Card: Eligible candidate will be able to download their Admit Card from the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in in February 2023.
  • Dispatch of original of Marksheet/Certificate: Original Marksheet/ Certificate will be sent by Regional Office, Delhi to the examination centre where the candidate had appeared for the exam. Candidate can collect the Marksheet/Certificate from the examination hall on the production of original admit card.
