Lady Irwin College offers courses in Science and Arts subjects at the UG level. BSc (Honors) is offered in Home Science, Food Technology, etc. B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Ed. and B.Ed. Special Education (MR). Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the University of Delhi. Candidates must have passed class 10+2 examination for admission in UG courses. All admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination. Students whose marks fall under the cut-off marks issued by Lady Irwin College are eligible for admission. However, for B.Ed., the candidates must have secured a graduate degree in any discipline. The selection of candidates in B.Sc. is based on the merit of the qualifying examination, while for B.Ed., the candidates have to qualify DU B.Ed. entrance examination with a valid score.

Lady Irwin College PG Program Admission 2020

Lady Irwin College comprises of PG level programs focusing on the area of Health & Nutrition, Design. Master of Science (MSc) in five different fields of specializations and PG Diploma is offered with a duration period of two years. The basic criteria to take admission in any of these PG programs is to have obtained a graduate degree in relevant subjects with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. The candidates are selected on a merit basis for the PG Diploma course. For M.Sc., only 60% of seats are open for merit-based admission, while for the rest of the 40% seats, entrance examinations are conducted by the University of Delhi i.e. DUET 2020.

• The candidates applying for admission under the merit must have a minimum of 60% marks in the graduation degree.
• The candidates awaiting the results of graduation can apply on a provisional basis.
• SC/ ST candidates are given a relaxation of up to 5% to the aggregate score of the qualifying examination.

Lady Irwin College offers a Doctoral degree in five different fields of specialization in Home Science. The candidates with a Master’s degree in Home Science are eligible to apply for admission. The selection of the candidates is based on the entrance examination conducted by the college along with a personal interview conducted by the admission committee.
