MAMC Application Process 2020:

For registering in Maulana Azad Medical College, it is compulsory for the candidates to register themselves in University of Delhi Online Portal. To apply for MAMC, the following admission procedure has to be followed :

  • Register yourself on the website of DU (Delhi University), fill in the required details and upload scanned copies of the documents asked for.
  • Initiate an online payment of Rs. 750 towards Delhi University and take out a print of the receipt.
  • Submit the receipt and registration form in the Syndicate Bank, MAMC Branch, fill out the challan, and pay the college fees along with a security deposit.
  • Head to the admission office of MAMC, fill out the forms and anti-ragging affidavit and submit photocopies of the required documents which will then be duly signed by the dean and registrar.
  • Upon doing so, you receive the admission letters and a receipt which are then to be submitted to the FMSC office of Vallabhai Patel Chest Institute.
  • This confirms your admission in a highly prestigious medical college of the national capital.

Candidates should be ready with the documents below at the time of admission in MAMC.

Candidates also need to apply for NEET UG/PG/SS, before applying for any course in MAMC since the College takes in admission on the basis of NEET. Candidates can follow the steps below to register for NEET:

  • Visit the NBE website for NEET-UG/PG/SS registration. 
  • Read the instructions and fill the application form following the registration process. 
  • Fill in all the details such as personal informations, academic details etc. 
  • Upload the scanned copy of the signature, photo and other documents. 
  • Select the exam center and pay the application fee.

MAMC MBBS Admissions 2020 

 MAMC offers MBBS program under the Undergraduate course.The duration for the undergraduate course is 5.5 years and the intake capacity for MBBS is 250 students per batch. The course is recognized by the Medical Council of India and affiliated to the University of Delhi. Those Students who have completed their 10+2 with PCB as main subjects with minimum 50% in aggregate can apply for the course. MAMC PG Admissions 2020 

MAMC  offers MD, MS, M.Ch and Diploma course in its Undergraduation courses.  MD is offered in 10 different specializations, MS in nine different specializations and Diploma in Eight different specializations.There are 153 seats for MD/MS courses and 25 seats for Post Graduate Diploma courses. The candidates can apply for MD, MS and Diploma programme once they have completed their MBBS from a recognised medical college along with the one year rotating internship. For admission to M.Ch programme candidates must have done their MS from a recognised medical institute. The admissions to all the courses will depend upo the rank held by the candidates in NEET PG and NEET SS (for M.Ch). For more details candidates can refer the table below:

NEET Examination 2020 

MAMC takes in NEET Examination scores for their admission in the courses of MD, MBBS, DM and MS. The NEET examination is soon to be conducted on September 13, 2020. The NEET UG examination will be conducted through offline mode with pen and paper and will have a duration of 3 hours. The examination will be of 720 marks in total.  The question paper will have English, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Bengali as its conducting languages. The candidates have to fill the application form online and upload all the necesaary details such as  their basic information, course details, upload photograph and signature, choose exam centre, and pay the application fee as asked. The syllabus of NEET will have main subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates can prepare for the NEET examination accordingly. The NEET Result 2020 is expected to be released in the last week of October 2020. Candidates can download their respective results from the official website. 

Counselling 2020 

The College will start the Counselling as soon as the results of NEET UG, PG and SS releases along with the Cut Off for Delhi University. The candidates will be allotted with the the institution in accordance with the ranks and merit held by them. Maulana Azad Medical College is trying this year for Online Counselling. For that the candidates have to upload the following documents for verification by the college :

MAMC Scholarships 2020

The college offers a scholarship, namely Maulana Azad Student Scholarship Scheme for MBBS students. MBBS students will be awarded by this scholarship based on the college exam scores and the family income. The family income of a student must be less than Rs 1 lakh per annum to apply for this scholarship. Apart from this scholarship, another scholarship, namely Smt Santosh Sharma Memorial Scholarship Scheme is also given to the MBBS students. Those candidates whose family income is less than Rs 2 lakh per annum are eligible for this scholarship.
