NEET Super Specialty 2023 will be conducted in September 2023 by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). National Eligibility Entrance Test Super Speciality will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations. It is a single entrance examination for various DM/ M.Ch/ DNB, Post Doctoral Fellowships courses. This is an eligibility cum ranking admission. The National Board of Examination conducts the entrance examination every year. Candidates must read the below-given article to know more NEET SS 2023 entrance test.

  • NEET SS 2023 will be organised in the month of September 2023.
  • MCC has declared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) counselling 2022 second round final allotment result has started from January 4.
  • NEET Super Speciality round 2 final result PDF including the candidates' ranks, allotted institute and course details is available on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

NEET SS 2023 Application Form

NEET SS 2023 Application Form link to apply will activate in November 2023. The National Board of Examinations will release the Application Form on the NTA Board official website. The Mode of Filling the Application Form of NEET SS  2023 will be online only. The Step By Step Process to fill in the Application form is as follows-

  • Visit the Official Website of the National Board of Examinations.
  • Click on the Application Form Link present on the Homepage.
  • You will be now redirected to a new page.
  • The First Step is your Registration Process.
  • In the Registration Process- you have to enter your details such as – Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, E-mail ID, Phone Number etc.
  • Click on the Submit Button, a Registration ID along with Password is received on your registered mobile number and email id.
  • Log In using the credentials and fill in the rest of the details.
  • The Rest of the Details includes your Educational Details, Choosing the Test Center, Super Speciality Course etc.
  • Recheck all the details before heading to the next step.
  • Upload your Photograph and Signature as per the specifications.
  • Make the Payment of the Application Form and Click on the submit button.
  • Download and take the printout of the Application Form. Keep the Application Form Printout safe for future reference.

NEET SS 2023 Application Fee 

The Exam Fee includes the Examination Fee and Information Bulletin. The candidate has to pay Rs 3750/-(common for all).

Mode of payment
  • The Registration Fees can be paid using an Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card issued by the Banks in India.
  • The Fees will be Non-Refundable and will not be carried forward if the application form is rejected or is found to be ineligible to appear in the examination.
  • Candidates are advised to submit the online application form before the closing date. Provide an active mobile number and valid e-mail id.

NEET SS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

NEET SS 2023 Eligibility Criteria is a very important factor in any Admission procedure. If a candidate satisfies the eligibility criteria then only he will be eligible to participate in the Admission process.

Given below are the NEET SS 2023 eligibility criteria for both Indian Nationals and Foreign Nationals.

For Indian Candidates
  • The candidate has to submit the Post-Graduate Medical Degree (MS/MD/DNB) or Provisional Pass Certificate or Equivalent Qualification for the Entrance Examination.
For NRI Candidates
  • Foreign nationals can appear in NEET-SS 2023 without MCI registration.
  • The Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Doctoral course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being exclusively for pursuing postdoctoral studies.
  • Provided further that temporary registration to such foreign national will be subject to the condition that such person is duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his own country where from he has obtained his PG Medical qualification and is duly recognized by the corresponding Medical Council or concerned authority.
  • This Registration Process is to ensure that whether the applicant has registered from an appropriate country or not.

NEET SS 2023 Exam Pattern

The NEET SS 2023 will be a computer-based examination that will be held on a single day only. For the examination, a candidate can choose a maximum of two super speciality courses at the time of online submission of the application form.

  • A total number of questions will be 100 in each question paper.
  • All the questions will be at PG Exit Level
Duration of Question Paper: The duration of the examination for the candidates choosing only one super speciality course or clubbed group will be 1 hour and 45 minutes. The duration for the candidates who have selected two super speciality courses will be 3 hours and 30 minutes.

NEET SS 2023 Syllabus

The interested candidate after knowing the exam pattern must know about the NEET SS 2023 Syllabus. It is an important aspect in the preparation of this exam. The candidate must go through the complete NEET SS 2023 syllabus and then start preparing for the exam. Candidates can also cover the following important topics from NEET SS 2023 syllabus as per paper distribution:

Part A of the Question paper

The questions in part A of the question paper will consist of MCQs from eligible feeder broad speciality courses. If there is only a single feeder broad speciality course from only one broad speciality, then part A will consist of questions from only one broad speciality.

For the super speciality courses having multiple feeder broad speciality courses, part A will consist of questions from all feeder broad courses.

Part B of Question Paper

This part of the paper will consist of 60 questions. These questions will be of PG exit level and will cover topics related to clinical practice and basic sciences.

NEET SS 2023 Admit Card

Candidates who complete the application submission process will be issued the NEET SS 2023 admit cards.

  • It is an important document for appearing in the exam, the admit card will contain details like the name of the candidate, roll number, name and address of exam centre, and also the date and time of the exam.
  • The candidate must download the admit card before the NEET SS 2023 exam date.
  • After downloading the admit card, the candidate needs to paste a photo in the appropriate place.
Documents to carry along with the NEET SS admit card on exam day:
  • Photocopy of permanent or provisional SMC/MCI registration
  • A valid photo ID proof in original, which may be any one of the following - PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, or Aadhaar Card

NEET SS 2023 Result

NEET SS 2023 Result will be declared on the official website on the dates scheduled by the NBE.

  • A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the examination.
  • There will be a separate merit list for each Super Speciality course.
  • As per the previous year, the candidates who have to obtain 35 percentile or more in each super speciality merit list will be declared as qualified.

NEET SS 2023 Counselling 

NEET SS 2023 Counselling Round will take place after the release of the NEET SS 2023 result and Merit List.

  • There will be common counselling for all seats of NEET SS Counselling 2023.
  •  Candidates whose name has been shortlisted on the merit list will be eligible to attend the counselling round. The NEET SS Counselling 2023 process is held in two rounds.
  • Candidates have to do a separate registration. They have to mention all the details correctly to participate in the counselling round. Candidates have to carry their required documents at the time of reporting to the allotted college for the course admission

Courses offered through NEET SS 

Some of the Super Specialty Courses which have fewer seats and have a single common feeder are clubbed together. The Clubbed Group of the Super Specialty Courses will be treated as one of the purposes for the Online Submission of the Application Form.

NEET SS 2023 Test Center

At the time of the submission of the application form, candidates are supposed to submit their options for Test Center.

  • The chosen city will be allotted by the National Board of the Examinations. The allotment of the examination centre will be purely based on the first cum first service.
  • Candidates can check their NBE NEET- SS Exam Center/Test Center on the Admit Card. The Test Centers will be allocated seven days before the date of the examination.
  • If in case the Test Center is not available, the one you prefer, then you can choose from other options from the list of the states.
  • If in case that test centre is not available due to certain reasons then, a nearby test centre/examination centre will be allocated to the candidate.
