Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) Application Form 2023

As soon as any post is advertised on the official website or in the local newspapers, the candidates must check the details and the last date to apply. The mode of GPSC Application Form 2023 is online. Therefore, the interested candidates must check the information of the recruitment made through Direct Selection and Competitive exams. How to Apply for GPSC 2023 Exam?

As soon as the advertisement for the GPSC exam is released, the candidates must visit the official website to check the details. However, we will also update all the details in this article. Candidates must read all the important instructions to apply from the advertisement. The entire process of filling and submitting the application form of GPSC will be online. All the details in the application form like personal details, educational qualification, etc must be filled correctly.   • Initially, visit the official website of GPSC, The applications forms are to be filled online at Go to the latest exam notifications.
  • Check the details of the post which is advertised. Click on the link to Register yourself.
  • Now, you have to do the online registration by entering your name, mobile number, and email id. The login credentials will be mailed to you on your registered email id.
  • Now click on the “New Login” button and enter the credentials and click on submit button.
  • In the next step, fill all the mandatory details in the application form. 
  • Upload the scanned copies of the documents required in the application form in the same prescribed format.
  • Then, the candidates must pay the application fees according to their social category.
  • Finally, you will receive a confirmation slip on your main. You must download and save the application form and acknowledgment slip for future references.

The applicants must pay the application fees which are given in the advertisement. The application fees may vary according to the posts and category. Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are aspiring to apply for GPSC must check the minimum requirements to fill the application form. In order to take part in the exam, the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for GPSC exam, and then only they must fill the application form. In this section, we have given the basic details of the eligibility criteria for various categories. Check the details given in the table below.
  • He/ She has to be a citizen of India
  • Or a subject from Nepal
  • Or a subject from Bhutan
  • Or a person who is a refugee from Tibet who has migrated to India and has permanently settled here before 1st January 1962.
  • Or a person with Indian origin and ancestry who migrated to India from Pakistan, (Bangladesh), Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam. Such candidates must have an eligibility certificate issued from the Government of India.

Age Limit

The following age limit is considered for the applicants from different social categories:

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years and above
  • Maximum Age: 35 Years and above
A candidate from SC, ST, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes with origin in the state of Gujarat.
  • Age relaxation for up to 5 years.
  • The maximum age limit of the person to appear for the exam shall be 45 years.
Female candidate belonging to Reserved Category
  • The candidate gets to experience an age relaxation of 10 years.
A candidate who has served as an ex-serviceman/officer
  • Age relaxation of their entire military years with the addition of 3 years.
  • The candidate should've served in the military at least for five years.
Candidates who are physically disabled
  • As per the percentage of disability.
  • The candidates get to experience age relaxation of about ten years.
  • Candidates who are physically challenged must provide a certificate/document proving their statement.
Female candidates of any unreserved categories
  • The person gets her age relaxed up to 5 years from the actual maximum age limit.
A person who had served the state government
  • The candidate doesn't get to experience any relaxation in age during the upper age.

Educational Qualification

The candidates must fulfill the following educational qualifications in order to apply for the GPSC application form.
  • A candidate must hold a bachelor's degree or more from a state/central recognized university.
  • Or the candidates who appeared for their final semester examination and are waiting for the results to be declared can also apply for the GPSC exam.

Documents Required to Fill GPSC 2023 Application Form

Candidates must have scanned copies of their documents before proceeding to fill the GPSC application form. The following documents are required at the time of filling the GPSC application form:
  • A copy of S.S.C.E. for birth date.
  • Mark sheet and degree certificate of Graduation.
  • Mark sheet and degree certificate of Post Graduation.
  • Experience certificate from the concerned Institution showing details of the duties and salary.
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Medical Certificate
  • In case of the teaching post of Medical Education, the candidate should submit along with the application form a certificate issued by the competent authority of the University or College that the Degree obtained by him/her is recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Exam Pattern of GPSC 2023

The selection for various posts through GPSC is done on the basis of a written exam and direct selection. Therefore, the candidates must check the exam pattern of GPSC before appearing for the exam. The selection is done through three stages as given below:
  • GPSC Prelims: This paper is of objective-type questions.
  • GPSC Mains Exam: This paper is based on descriptive-type questions.
  • The final interview: 100 marks.

GPSC Admit Card 2023

After the process of the application form is completed, the Gujarat Public Service Commission will issue the hall ticket to all the eligible candidates. The admit card/hall ticket of GPSC 2023 will be available online mode. Therefore, the candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website. You must enter your roll number to access the admit card from the official website. This document contains details like the name of the candidate, exam date and day, venue of the exam, duration, things to carry in the exam hall, and important instructions. It is mandatory to carry the admit card of the GPSC on the day of the exam. Without a valid admit card, no candidates hall be allowed to enter the exam hall. Also, save the admit card of GPSC till the admission process is not completed.

Gujarat Public Service Commission GPSC 2023 Result

After the completion of the exam, the official authority will declare the result of the candidates. So, the applicants who have given the GPSC exam can check their results online from the official website. You can check the GPSC 2023 result online by entering their roll number and date of birth. Once the result is announced, the merit list of the selected candidates will be released for the further screening process.
