Assam PAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Those who are seeking to apply and appear for Assam PAT 2023 much the eligibility criteria below: 

• The candidate must be of minimum 20 years for the general category where for SC/ST category they should be of minimum 23 year old.

Applicants must have passed the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination with Science and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with the following scores –

• For General category candidates - a minimum of 40% marks in Mathematics and Science.
• For Schedule Caste candidates and Scheduled Tribes candidates - a minimum of 35% marks in Mathematics and Science 

• The applicant must be a medal winner of State Games/ State Championships/ Tournaments
  organized by State Sports Association/Assam Olympic Association/Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam, and will be decided in order of Medals of Gold/Silver/Bronze received.
• The medals received by the applicant must be within the period of the last 3 years.  

The candidate will be considered under NCC category in order of merit as per NCC Examination Certificate received from the Commanding Officer, National Cadets Corps, or higher level to be treated as given below-

• “C” certificate with Grading "A"
  "C" certificate with Grading “B”
• “B" certificate with Grading "A"
  "B" certificate with Grading “B"
• "A" certificate with Grading “A"
  "A" certificate with Grading "B"
