KVPY 2023: Inspire SHE Application, Exam, Eligibility

KVPY 2023 (Inspire - SHE) registration will start soon. Entrance exam will be held in May 2023 by the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore. The correction window will be opened in March 2023. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a national-level fellowship program. The IISC also offers scholarships to eligible students on the basis of their score in KVPY, IITJEE (Main and Advanced). The selected candidates of the pre-Ph.D level are provided scholarships through this Yojana. KVPY is an entrance test organized to select the eligible candidates through the Aptitude Test and Interview. The selected candidates are awarded scholarships who can then pursue their careers in the field of Research Science. KVPY 2023 Application Form 

The candidates could fill the KVPY 2023 Registration Form online by filling in the details given in the form. Interested applicants can check the following details regarding the KVPY 2023 Application Form:
  • Authority will release the KVPY 2023 Application Form in online mode only.
  • The application process includes certain steps – Registration, Filling details in the application, uploading documents, making exam preference, and application fee payment.
  • Any changes in KVPY 2023 application form will not be accepted if once submitted.
  • Candidates have to upload their recent passport size photograph with scanned signature in the prescribed format.
  • For registration, candidates have to provide a valid e-mail ID & phone number to get login credentials.
  • Candidates applying after class 11 have to apply under SA stream and those applying after 12 have to apply under SX stream while the candidates pursuing B.Sc Basic sciences (first year) have to apply under SB stream.
The students had to follow the steps given below to fill the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) exam Application Form:
  • Step 1: The candidates first need to Register themselves. This shall be done by visiting the KYPY application portal.
  • Step 2: Fill the details (Personal and Academic), choose the preference of test centres asked in the Application Form, Upload the documents( photo, signature and other certificates) as required.
  • Step 3: Pay the Application fee. The fee should be submitted only at the application portal i.e. online. No other mode shall be accepted.
  • Step 4: The candidates are advised to take multiple printouts of the application form and keep it carefully for further use.

KVPY 2023 Syllabus

  • The students can prepare the topics from class 10th, 12th, and 1st year UG syllabus according to the stream they have selected.
  • Also, there is no KVPY 2023 Syllabus which has been prescribed for the entrance test.

KVPY 2023 Preparation Tips

KVPY 2023 Admit Card

  • The KVPY 2023 Admit Card is released on the official website https://cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/956/67087/login.html.
  • The candidates had to carry their admit cards and id proof with them on the exam day.
  • To download the admit card candidates had to enter their application number.
  • The Admit card had all the important details regarding the KVPY exam such as Date of Exam, Venue, Exam Instructions etc.
  • Applicants without admit card were not eligible to give the exam.

KVPY 2023 Answer Key

Before the result announcement, Indian Institute of Science will release KVPY 2023 Answer Key in online mode. By the help of answer key, candidates can calculate their expected marks scored in the entrance exam. The separate answer key will be released for each stream, the candidate can compare their marked answer to that given in the official answer key to calculate their score. 

The official answer key will be available by the fourth week of November 2020. To access answer, key candidates have to log in using their application number and password obtained at the time of registration.

KVPY 2023 Result

KVPY result includes the names of the candidates who are selected for the interview round. The separate list will be declared for each stream (SA, SX and SB). KVPY result 2023 will be declared in the third week of November 2023(tentative). The merit list is prepared by giving 75% weightage to the aptitude test and 25% weightage to the interview. Before the result declaration, the authority will also release the answer key. With the help of which, candidates can get an idea about the marks they will obtain in the entrance exam. Candidates are advised to check the answer key as per the stream under which they have appeared in the exam.

KVPY 2023 Cutoff

KVPY 2023 Counselling/Selection

On the basis of candidate's performance in the entrance exam, they will be called for KVPY 2023 Selection Proces. The selection process includes interview rounds. Conducting authority will organize interviews for the qualified and selected candidates. All the details regarding interview rounds will be sent to the candidates through SMS or mail.
