Manipur's National Institute of Technology was established in 2010. This is a federally financed, self-contained institute of national significance. It is among the ten NITs that have recently been established. Currently, the institution offers 5 B.Tech programmes, 5 M.Tech degrees, 3 M.Sc courses, and 7 Ph.D. coursework in Science and Engineering fields.
There are now 150 students enrolled each year, with half of the places designated for Manipur students as well as the other half for everyone else. Three undergraduate, six postgraduate, and seven doctoral courses are available at the institute.
The college is now recruiting for a cell that will provide campus placements to graduating students. It has been well with all of the necessary infrastructure to meet the demands of the positioning procedure. Cells are in charge of pre-placement conversations, interviews, and group discussions. The institute has rules in place for suitable placement as well as other relevant activities.
