NIT Manipur Admission 2023 Application Form will be available from May 2023. Candidates can apply for admission in B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech, PhD. courses. Also, Admission will be given based on the score of the candidates in the following exams: JEE Main, GATE, JAM, GATE/NET/Written Examination conducted by the college. The candidates will be enrolled in the following mentioned programmes: B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and PhD courses in Engineering and Science disciplines. The exam which would be considered for admission in NIT Manipur will depend on the programme for which the candidate is applying. The admission dates for different programs will be different. Also, the counselling will take place at the National Level. NIT Manipur Admissions will be carried out by CCMT 2023 and CCMN 2023.

Candidates have to appear for J

M.Tech:
Candidates have to appear for GATE exam to get admission in M.Tech programs.
M.Sc:
Candidates have to appear for JAM entrance exam which is conducted by CCMN to get admission in M.Sc programs.
PhD:
Candidates who seeking to get admission to the PhD programme:
- Candidates have to download the application form available on the official website of NIT Manipur.
- Fill in all the details properly in the application.
- Select the respective course for research.
- Submit the Application Form by Demand Draft.

NIT Manipur Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria
For B.tech
Candidate must pass 10+2 level for the authorised board.
For M.Sc.
- M. Sc. Mathematics and Computing: B.Sc.(10+2+3)/BS degree (Major/Honours) in Mathematics, with a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CPI in a 10-point scale (50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10- point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates) in major/honours only.
OR
Candidates having B.Sc.(10+2+3) degree without (Major/Honours) in Mathematics, must have the concerned degree with Mathematics as a subject for two years/four semesters and (b) a minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for General/OBC category candidates and a minimum 50% aggregate marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (for SC/ST/PD category candidates. - M. Sc. Physics: B.Sc.(10+2+3)/BS degree (Major/Honours) in Physics with Mathematics for at least two years/four semesters, with a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CPI in a 10-point scale (50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates) in major/honours only.
OR
Candidates having B.Sc.(10+2+3)/BS degree without (Major/Honours) in Physics with Mathematics for at least two years/four semesters, must have the concerned degree with
- Physics as a subject for at least two years/four semesters and Mathematics for at least one year/two semesters and a minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for General/OBC category candidates and a minimum 50% aggregate marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD category candidates.
- M. Sc. Chemistry: B.Sc.(10+2+3)/BS degree (Major/Honours) in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics for at least two years/four semesters, with a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CPI on a 10- point scale (50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates in major/honours only.
OR
Candidates having B.Sc.(10+2+3)/BS degree without (Major/Honours) in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics for at least two years/four semesters, must have the concerned degree with
- Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters and Mathematics and Physics for at least two years/four
semesters and - a minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CPI on a 10-point scale for General/OBC category candidates and a minimum 50% aggregate marks or 5.5 CPI on a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD category candidates.
For M.tech
At least 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) in (last qualifying degree examination); relaxation of 5% marks / 0.5 CGPA is applicable for SC/ST candidates. If the results of the last qualifying examination are not published yet, the qualifying marks are applicable till the last semester.
For PhD
- Engineering and Technology: Master Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area with a minimum CPI equivalent to 60% of marks as per conversion formula prescribed by the University/Institute.
Or
Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology or MSc/MCA (wherever applicable) in related areas with an excellent academic record, with a CPI equivalent to 70% of marks as per conversion formula prescribed by the University/Institute with valid GATE score. - Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics): Master Degree in Science in an appropriate area with a minimum CPI equivalent to 60% of marks as per conversion formula prescribed by the university/Institute.
NIT Manipur Admission 2023 Counselling
While NIT Manipur Admission 2023 Counselling process candidates have to carry following documents in the admission process.
For B.tech
- Three nos of Passport size photographs.
- JoSAA/CSAB Document Verification cum Seat Acceptance Letter and Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (after reporting).
- Payment Receipts from JoSAA/CSAB (for the amount paid to JoSAA/CSAB).
- Balance Payment Receipt from students if applicable (check payment procedure below).
- JEE Score Card (one set self-attested copy).
- All Educational Mark Sheets and Certificates (Original & one set self-attested copy).
- Caste Certificate (original & one set self-attested copy).
- For OBC, Certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2020.
- For PwD candidates, the PwD certificate as per JoSAA/CSAB format will be considered.

For M.tech

- Physical Reporting at participating Institute Slip (will be provided to the candidate)

About NIT Manipur
The National Institute of Technology(NIT) Manipur was established in the year 2010 and is located at Langol, Imphal. It is authorized by AICTE. The First session of the institute started with three branches of Engineering namely - Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Later in 2013-14, institutes add Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering to courses. The college offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research programs across various specializations.
