MAHER University BDS, MBBS & MDS Admission 2023

The MAHER Chennai offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery. The details of all like eligibility requirements have been discussed below:

  • Pass at HSC Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany/Zoology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate for all open/unreserved category candidates & for  SC, ST and OBC category the minimum marks should be 40%.

  • NEET-UG valid score is compulsory.

  • A candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology at the Qualifying Examination.
  • For SC, ST and OBC category, the marks must be 40% whereas for BenchMark Disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the marks should be 45% instead of 50% for Unreserved category candidates and 40% for SC / ST / OBC candidates.
  • Minimum age should be of 17 years at the time of admission or on 31 December 2023.
  • 50th percentile in NEET-UG is compulsory to be eligible for MBBS in MAHER.
