The University of North Bengal, Darjeeling offers MA, M.Sc, LL.M, and M.LI.Sc courses along with PG Diploma courses in various specializations. Graduation in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. Admission to all the PG courses is offered based on a course-based written test conducted by the university followed by Viva-Voce/ interview. • PG Diploma courses are also offered in off-campus mode.
• 22% and 6% seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates respectively belonging to the state of West Bengal and Sikkim.

• The application form can be filled online on payment of Rs 150 (Rs 60 for SC/ST/PH) as application fee through Challan or by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.

University of North Bengal M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2023

The University of North Bengal, Darjeeling offers a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria for M.Phil and Ph.D. courses. Admission to both the courses is entrance-based followed by an interview. The selection process includes three stages, namely, Research Methodology for 30 marks, Subject-Specific Knowledge for 30 marks, and Viva-Voce cum interview (research and presentation) for 40 marks. The entire process of filling the online application form can be completed in six stages. The six stages are:

• Registration on the NBU Admission Portal (https://nbu.ucanapply.com/) for the online application process.
• Select the course of your choice [check eligibility, other details...].
• If you choose to apply for the selected course [do it after confirming your eligibility, dates of Entrance Test, etc], the application form will appear on the screen. Fill up the details in the application form which will have the following sections:
  • Applicant Details
  • Correspondence Address and Details Parents
  • Upload scanned image file of your Photograph and Signature
    • Scanned photograph (Less than 100KB).
    • Scanned signature (Less than 100KB).
• Final Review of details entered in the Application Form and if they are corrected then 'Confirm' the submission. Else, edit the details before confirming submission.
• Fee Payment through "SBI Collect Portal" & application Submission (Credit card, Net banking or ATM-cum-Debit card if available)
• For subsequent applications (after the first course) process of filling up 'Applicant Details', 'Correspondence Address and Parental Details', 'uploading of Photograph and Signature', and 'Preference of Test center' will not be required. These details will be repeated automatically/ copied for all subsequent applications after the first application

• The various link will display on the screen, search for ‘Admit Card’ and click on it.

• You can also download & take a print your Admit Card.

University of North Bengal Distance Education Admission 2023

North Bengal University (NBU), situated in Siliguri, currently offers MA, M.Sc courses in various streams for the duration of two years. Admission is offered completely on the basis of merit followed by counselling conducted by NBUDDE

Candidates seeking admission must have completed graduation in the relevant subject. The application form can be filled online followed by submission at the university office.

MA & M.Sc Admission 2023

DDE of NBU offers MA and M.Sc in various disciplines in distance education mode. Graduation in the related discipline is the minimum desired eligibility criteria. Admission is granted on the basis of marks in graduation. Final admission is subject to document verification at the time of counselling. An overview of the criteria of eligibility or selection for admission to these programs is given below:

• Document Verification will be performed within 15 days of admission. Candidates are advised to bring all the required documents along with duly filled application form and fee receipt.
• 50% relaxation in course fees will be offered to the candidates belonging to AAY and BPL categories.

NBUDDE Application Process 2023

Fill the application form by following the below-listed steps:

1. The application form can be filled online by visiting the official website of NBUDDE.
2. Pay the application fee of INR 100 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
3. Take the printout of duly filled form and send it to the NBUDDE office or study center along with desired documents and fee receipt.
