AP EdCET 2021 i.e.Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted in August 2021 tentatively by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education to offer admission to aspirants in the regular B. Ed program in the colleges of Education in Andra Pradesh. It is the state-level exam that is conducted every year. Before applying for the application process, one should check the AP EdCET 2021 important dates, eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern, etc to know more about the exam.

AP EdCET 2021 Application Form
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will release the AP EdCET 2021 application form. Candidates can check all the essential information related to AP EdCET 2021 Application Form given below:
The application form for the AP EdCET 2021 will be in online mode.
The last date to apply online for AP EdcET is in July 2021(with a late fee).
The candidate should visit the official website first, no other mode of application will be entertained.
The candidate must create his/her profile on the portal by using a valid email id and by providing all the personal information.
In the next step, the applicant must provide educational details such as the exams passed and the relevant marks obtained.
Now, in the next step candidate have to upload scanned images of signature, photographs, left thumb impression in the given format ( kb ).
The next step will be to fill the category of applicants.
The next step is for the fee payment.
Submit all the information after payment. Take the printout of the confirmation page and payment slip for future purposes.

AP EdCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying for the exam. Check the given below points regarding the AP EdCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
Basic eligibility criteria:
The candidates must be Indian Citizens.
The candidates should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974.
Educational Qualifications:
The candidates must have passed B.A./B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.C.A./ B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.B.M courses from any recognized university.
The candidate must have secured 50% marks in the qualifying examination and 40% marks stand for the candidates such as SC, ST, bc(A/B/C/D), PH in the qualifying examination.
If candidates have passed B.E / B.Tech degree, they must have a minimum of 50% marks along with Mathematics and Physics as their compulsory subject.
The candidates who are appearing in the final year are also eligible to apply for AP EdCET-2021.
Age Limit: The candidate’s minimum age should be 19 years on 1st July of the examination year in which notification is issued. There is no such maximum age limit.

The qualifying cut-off marks in the entrance test are 25% which means 37 from a total of 150 marks. There are no prescribed marks for those who belong to SC/ST/OBC class.
AP EdCET 2021 Syllabus
There are three parts of the AP EdCET 2021 Syllabus, that is Part -A, Part -B, and Part -C. Here we describe all parts of the Exam.
Part-A: General English
Reading Comprehension
Synonyms, Antonyms, and Vocabulary
Articles, Prepositions, Correction of Sentences, Tenses, Spelling, Voice.
Transformation of Sentences – Simple, Complex, and Compound, Direct, and Indirect Speech.
Part-B: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude
In this section, questions are designed for testing the candidate’s ability of the general knowledge of the environment all around and its application to society
In the test, questions included from India as well as the neighboring countries consisted of History, General Policy, Scientific Research, Ecology, Economics, Culture, Geography.
Through the questions in section B, candidates’ knowledge can be tested, thus questions connected to the current events, like the matter of the daily observation and experience of the scientific knowledge
Teaching includes characteristics such as an ability to communicate, skills to deal with children, and recognizing individual differences.
Part-C: One of the following subjects to have opted:

AP EdCET 2021 Answer Key
The government of Andhra Pradesh will publish the AP EdCET 2021 Answer Key in May tentatively. Candidates need to visit the official website to check the answer key. Candidates can calculate the marks once they get to know the answers. However, if there would be any issues regarding the answer key, one can inform the authority as soon as possible.

AP EdCET 2021 Result
AP EdCET 2021 Result will be announced on the official website of the university. Candidate can check their result by entering roll no. and date of birth.
The candidate can expect the result after one month of examination.
Successful candidates have to appear for counseling on scheduled dates and locations.
The candidate should take the printout of the result for the counseling process.
The result will be based on the performance of a candidate in the entrance test.
AP EdCET 2021 Counselling
AP EdCET 2021 counseling processwill start after the declaration of the AP EdCET result. The counseling schedule will be published by the examination's conducting body.
After the announcement of the result, the candidate will be called for the counseling process.
The counseling center will be announced on the website or via mail.
The candidates will be invited to attend the counseling process based on marks obtained in the exam.
