IRMASAT 2020 Syllabus: Check Subject-wise Syllabus

IRMASAT 2020 Syllabus is released by Institute of Rural Management Anand, IRMA. The syllabus remains the same as the previous year.  For the candidates to prepare better and smart, a synopsis of the Institute of Rural Management Anand Social Awareness Test 2020 syllabus for the exam is the most important step. IRMASAT 2020 was conducted from 10 February 2020 to 29 February 2020. For admissions in IRMA, candidates will be shortlisted on the following two methods:
  • Merit-Based 
  • Profile-cum-merit Based 

Candidates fulfiling the following criteria will be shortlisted for merit-based calls:

  • Graduation in: Dairy, Veterinary Sciences, Public policy, Sustainability, Development, Agriculture,  Food Technology from top universities and colleges
  • Candidate must have work experience in the Development Sector, Dairy, and Public Policy. 

IRMASAT 2020 Syllabus 

Candidates must be familiarized with the IRMASAT Syllabus 2020 before starting the preparation of IRMASAT exam along with the pattern of the exam. Institute of Rural Management Anand Social Awareness Test 2020 is a national level examination that will be conducted by IRMA, Anand for the admission in courses like PGDRM and FPRM. Candidates can refer the following topics in order to score well in the IRMASAT 2020 entrance exam:

Candidate must focus on following points while preparing for the IRMASAT exam 2020. Given below are some topics that candidate must prepare on to score well:

  • Social and economic issues of large sections with the benefits of development such as poverty and inequality based on poverty levels; poverty line; disparities in income, employment, and literacy by rural-urban background, and gender and social groups like caste and religion.
  • Indian economy and issues relating to India’s national income and its composition; per capita income, etc.
  • Five Year Plans - their goals, planning in India, targets, and strategies.
  • Millennium development goals, human development, HDI and its achievements by India.
  • Right to information; Issues relating to good governance and accountability to the citizens including the maintenance of human rights, and probity in public life.
  • Health issues including the management of public health, health education, and ethical concerns regarding health-care.
  • Agriculture in India, crop, and livestock production systems.
  • Rural poverty alleviation and development programmes – goals, features and major achievements: green revolution, operation flood, NREGA, IAY, ICDS, SSA, and NRHM.
  • Ecological preservation, Environmental issues, conservation of natural resources.
  • Naxalism, Internal security and related issues such as the preservation of communal harmony.
