Kerala SET 2020 exam has been postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak. The admit card has been delayed due to postponement of the exam. It is also referred to as the Kerala State Eligibility Test is conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala Govt.) for the candidates to be selected as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE. The eligibility test is consist of two papers, each papers consist of total 120 questions. Candidates try to attempt maximum question in each paper in 2 hours. Kerala SET 2020 Admit Card

The candidates can download the Kerala SET 2020 Admit Card from the official website after the Application form filling process will get over. The online admission ticket will be available on the website of the LBS Centre. Other details are mentioned below in the given points:

  • Only those applicants will be issued the Hall Ticket whose form will be accepted by the competent authority. 
  • To get the Admission Ticket the aspirants will have to enter their Registration ID.
  • The candidates must have the Admit Card as without it entry would not be possible in the examination hall.

Kerala SET 2020 Application Form

The candidates who want to apply for SET February 2020 are required to fill the Kerala SET 2020 Application form in online mode only. The other details for the same are as follows:

  • The Application form was released on 28 December 2019 and was available to fill till 10 January 2020. 
  • Examination Fee can be paid till 12 January 2020.
  • The candidates can fill the form online only on the official website.
  • While filling the form make sure the details filled are relevant in all respect.
  • Must upload the scanned images of the mandatory documents.
  • After filling in all the details make the fee payment to complete the process.
  • Get the printout of the filled form for all the future uses.

Kerala SET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Kerala SET 2020 Eligibility Criteria must be checked before filling the form. Below list shows the eligibility conditions for the exam:

  • There is no age limit for candidates appearing for the SET.
  • Master's Degree in the subjects concerned with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and B.Ed. degree in any discipline from any one of the universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other university recognised as equivalent thereto are eligible.
  • For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those having MSc.ed Degree in the subjects concerned with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade from any one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT is eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology, those having MSc.Ed Degree in Life Science (with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade) from any one of the Regional Institutes of Education are also eligible.
  • For the subjects French, German, Geology, Commerce, Home Science, Latin, Music, Journalism, Philosophy, Psychology, Russian, Sociology, Social Work, Statistics and Syriac candidates need not acquire B.Ed. Degree for applying for the Kerala State Eligibility Test.
  • Candidates who have II class Master’s Degree in Communicative English with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and BEd. are eligible to appear for SET in English.
  • Candidates who have acquired DLEd/LTTC in Arabic, Urdu and Hindi but don't have B.Ed Degree are eligible to apply for SET 2020.
  • For Biotechnology - Having a Masters degree in Biotechnology with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and B.Ed degree in natural science are eligible for applying KSET February 2020.

Kerala SET 2020 Answer Key

The Kerala SET 2020 Answer Keys of all subjects will be published on the official websites of the LBS Centre immediately after the examination. The other details regarding the same are given below:

  • If there will be any issue regarding the answer key the applicants can bring into the notice of the LBS Centre within five days from the date of the publication of the answer keys.
  • The answer key can be challenged on payment of  Rs 300/- for each question by the candidates.

Kerala SET 2020 Result

The details of marks and the eligibility status secured by the candidates appeared for the SET February 2020 will be published on the official websites of the LBS Centre. The scorecard will have all the relevant information about the scores of a candidate in the SET 2020 exam. Candidates who apply for a SET certificate have to produce certificates within a period of one year from the declaration of result. After a year, candidates have to pay late fees of Rs.500 and an additional Rs.250 for each subsequent year passing.

About LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram is the premier institute of computer training and consultancy, registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955 was established by the Kerala Government in 1976. The Centre was started with the main objectives that the Centre would act as a link between the industries and technical institutions to benefit society through their mutual interactions. It is a recognized research study Centre of Kerala University leading to the award of PhD.
