KLEE 2023 or Kerala Law Entrance Examination dates will be soon announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE). The candidates can estimate their score with the help of the answer key(released).  This exam is conducted once every year at the State Level.  The candidates are enrolled in the following three Law courses LLB (3-years), LLB (5-years) and LLM. KLEE 2023 LLB 3-Year Answer Key Udate

  • KLEE 2023 LLB 3-Year Answer Key: CEE Kerala has released the provisional answer key for the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) 2023 LLB 3-year exam.
  • Objection Period: Candidates can raise objections against the KLEE 2023 answer key until August 18.
  • Provisional Answer Key Details: The provisional answer key covers all questions from the three-year LLB entrance exam and is available on the CEE website, cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Exam Date and Duration: The KLEE 3-year LLB exam took place on August 13, lasting for two hours.
  • Final Answer Key Release: The final KLEE 2023 answer key will be published after addressing objections raised against the provisional key.
  • Addressing Complaints: To address complaints about the KLEE three-year LLB answer keys, candidates can send them to CEE Kerala along with supporting documents and a fee of Rs100 per question. The fee should be submitted through a demand draft drawn in favor of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The deadline for submission is August 18, 4 pm.
  • Fee Refund for Valid Complaints: If a filed complaint is found genuine, the fee paid for the respective question will be refunded, as stated by CEE Kerala.
  • Important Guidelines: Complaints must be submitted within the stipulated time and with the necessary fee. Submissions via E-mail/Fax will not be considered. Correct answers in KLEE 2023 3-year LLB exam earn three marks, while one mark is deducted for incorrect responses.
  • Marking for Reviewed Questions: Unanswered questions marked for review receive no marks. For answered review questions, correct responses earn three marks, and incorrect options incur a deduction of one mark.
  • The Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) 2023 provisional answer key for the 5-year LLB program has been released by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala.
  • Answer Key Availability: Candidates who participated in the entrance exam can access the KLEE 2023 answer key on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Objection Period: Candidates have the opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key until August 11.
  • Exam Date and Purpose: KLEE 2023 was conducted on August 6 and serves as the entrance examination for admission to five-year integrated LLB programs offered by law colleges within the state of Kerala.
  • Publication of Answer Key: The CEE stated in an official notice that the answer key for the Integrated Five Year LLB entrance examination held on August 6 has been published on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Objection Process: To submit objections, candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 100 per question through a Demand Draft (DD) and provide supporting documents. These objections must be sent by post or submitted physically to the office of the commissioner of exams.
  • Refund for Valid Complaints: If a filed complaint is found to be valid, the fee paid for that specific question will be refunded.

KLEE 2023 Application Form

  • There is no offline mode available for filling or submitting the form.

E-Challan

Candidates can also pay the fees through E-Challan. candidates need to take a print-out of the e-challan and make payment in cash at any of the Head and Sub Post office in Kerala and collect the counterfoil of the E-challan.

KLEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Kerala Law Entrance Examination for the various courses is given below. candidates can go through the following points and check their eligibility as required for the specific course.

KLEE L.L.B 5 year Eligibility Criteria

CEE Kerala will release KLEE Five year integrated LLB eligibility criteria in April 2023. Candidates willing to pursue a 5-year LLB course must fulfil the below-given conditions to apply for the course. 

  • Candidates should be Indian citizen.
  • Senior Secondary exam with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks and (42% for SEBC, 40% for SC/ST)
  • There is no upper limit to apply for the course.
KLEE L.L.B 3 year Eligibility Criteria

CEE Kerala will release KLEE Five year integrated LLB eligibility criteria in April 2023. Candidates willing to pursue a 5-year LLB course must fulfil the below-given conditions to apply for the course. 

  • Candidates should be Indian citizen.
  • The candidate must have graduated with a minimum of 45% aggregate (42% for SEBC, 40% for SC/ ST). 
  • Candidates who have obtained first degree certificates through distance and correspondence education will also be considered eligible for admissions into the KLEE three year LL.B. 
  • Candidates yet to appear or have appeared for the qualifying examinations in 2023 will also be considered eligible for KLEE three year LL.B. However, their eligibility will be confirmed only when they provide a provisional certificate/ certificate of degree and mark sheets of the qualifying examination on the admission day.
  • The eligibility criteria of KLEE three year LL.B 2023 states no age limit for the exam. Candidates of any age can appear for KLEE three year LL.B.
KLEE L.L.M Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates appearing for KLEE L.L.M for 2023 should be a resident of India and Kerala origin. 

  • There is no upper age limit for candidates to appear for the entrance test.

  • Candidates willing to appear for KLEE L.L.M should have cleared L.L.B with a minimum of 50% 
  • Candidates who are yet to take or have taken their final year L.L.B exam are also allowed to apply for KLEE L.L.M 2023. However, they will be considered eligible for the final stage of admission only if they can provide provisional or degree certificates of the qualifying examination on the day of admission.

KLEE 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates should check the complete KLEE 2023 Exam Pattern given below before starting their preparation:

  • Duration- The exam will be scheduled for 180 Minutes.
  • Number of Questions - 200 objective type questions.
  • Type of Questions- Multiple Choice Questions
  • Sections- The Question Paper will be divided into 3 parts which comprise of General English, General Knowledge, and Aptitude for Legal Studies in multiple-choice questions.
  • Marking Scheme- Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Note- If applicants select multiple answers for one question then it will be treated as incorrect and negative marking will be done for the same.

  • Aptitude for Legal Studies– Constitutional Law I, Family Law II, Jurisprudence-I, Family Law I, Law of Contract, Jurisprudence II,  Special Contracts, International Human Rights & Public International Law, Law of Crimes-I, Company Law, Constitutional Law II, Property Law, Labour Law, Law of Taxation, Administrative Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Law of Torts including Motor Vehicle Accidents and Consumer Protection Laws, etc.
  • General English- Jumbled words/sentences, Series, Incorrect sentences, Fill in the blanks, Unseen passages, Reading Comprehension, Essay-writing,  Analogy, Direction sense, Blood Relations, Critical Reasoning, Syllogism, etc.

KLEE 2023 Admit Card 

KLEE 2023 Admit Card will be issued on the official website of the authorised body after the successful submission of the Application Form. The details for the same can be checked below in the points:

  • The candidates will be able to download the admit card/Hall ticket from the official website.
  • Each one will be required to produce the admit card to the exam hall & Participating Institute at the time of admission.
  • Along with the admit card, applicants must carry identity proof for verification purposes.
  • The authority will NOT send the admit card to an individual candidate.

KLEE 2023 Result

CEE will declare the KLEE 2023 result on the official website. The result will be declared after the publication of the final merit list. In case two candidates will get the same marks then the authority will follow the tie-breaking criteria to resolve the tie. The candidate must take print of the KLEE 2023 result for further process.

KLEE 2023 Tie-breaking Criteria
  1. Candidate securing the highest marks in the part ‘Aptitude for Legal Studies will be considered first for the ranking.
  2. If the tie still exists then higher marks in the part ‘English’ will be considered for the merit list.
  3. If the Tie still exists then the candidate older in age will be given priority in the merit list.

KLEE 2023 Counselling

Centre for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Thiruvananthapuram will conduct a Spot round of counselling for a 5-year integrated law program for filling vacant seats in government and self-financing law colleges and some seats in BA LLB course in the private self-financing law college.

  • Spot counselling for a 3-year LLB course will be conducted filling vacant seats in government and self-financing law colleges.
