KLEE Counselling 2020: Dates, Counselling Process, Documents Required

KLEE Counselling 2020 will be organised by the Centre for Entrance Examinations(CEE) to offer admission to the candidates into Law courses LLB (3-years), LLB (5-years). The counselling will be down online on the official website. Those applicants who will qualify the entrance exam will only be called for the counselling process for documentation. Such candidates will have to register their options by logging in to the exam portal. KLEE Counselling 2020 Dates

There will be 4 government law colleges/university and 17 private law colleges that will be participating in Kerala Law Entrance Exam 2020 counselling process. And, together these colleges will be offering 625 seats in 3-year LLB and around 1295 seats in 5-year LLB courses. Applicants can check  below table to know the dates of counselling:

Documents required for KLEE Counselling 2020

The candidates will have to carry following mentioned original documents at the time of KLEE counselling for verification purpose & then the seats will be allotted to each.

  • Candidate’s datasheet
  • Transfer certificate
  • Four passport size photograph
  • The original mark sheet and certificates of the qualifying examination
  • Allotment memo issued by CEE, Thiruvananthapuram
  • Migration certificate
  • Category certificate
  • Domicile certificate

KLEE Counselling Process 2020(CAP)

After the declaration of KLEE result 2020, the conducting body will release a rank list containing the names of the shortlisted candidates those who have qualified the exam & will be called for documentation. The seats will be alloted through CAP(Centralised Allotment Process). KLEE 2020 counselling will contain the following steps.

  • Registration and Choice-filling: The qualified candidates will have to register for the allotment process. Thereafter, they will have to submit their preferences for courses and colleges. The candidates must also take a print-out of the choices filled.
  • Option Processing and Allotment Memo: After the choice filling period is over, the allotment memo/allotment list is published by CEE on its website. Allotment memo comprises of the seat allotted to the candidates.
  • Admission in the allotted institute: Next, the candidates are required to report at the allotted institute with college fee & documents.
  • Next phase of counselling: If a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted college, he/she may apply for the next round of counselling as per schedule. The number of CAP rounds is intimated by CEE in due course of time.
  • Spot Allotment: After the completion of the online counselling process, vacant seats are filled using spot counselling process.
