Odisha TET 2021 or Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test 2021 result will be soon announced by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. Through OTET the candidates can be enrolled in government, private aided, and private unaided colleges of Odisha state. It is conducted annually at the state level. All candidates who have cleared their category XII or graduation are eligible to seem for the Odisha TET test. Odisha teachers' eligibility test will be conducted in two papers i.e. Category A (Paper I) and category B (Paper-II). There are separate eligibility criteria for both exams. Odisha TET 2021 Answer Key

After the exam, the Board of Secondary Education has released its official answer key. Candidates must check the following points regarding the OTET 2021 Answer key:

  • Answer key of Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 or OSS TET 2021 or OTET 2021 will be available at BSE Odisha.nic.in.
  • It contains correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam.
  • The different answer key will be published paper wise (I and II) and set wise (A, B, C, D).
  • Candidates should download and check their answers only for which they have a question paper.
  • Candidates are advised to use official answer keys to check their answers and to predict them even before the result is announced.
  • An answer key is published as a PDF file. Candidates don't have to log in to get them.

Candidates must note that in 2019, the OSS TET exam answer key was not published because the question paper was leaked. In that case, the authority had released the answer key for re-exam or new exam directly.

Odisha TET 2021 Result

OTET 2021 Result will be released by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha in June 2021 tentatively. The result will be published in PDF format. Candidates can check the given below instructions about Odisha TET Result 2021:

  • OTET Merit List 2021 will be published on the official website of BSE, Odisha.
  • OTET 2021 Answer Key will determine the results.
  • The common OTET merit list will be released for the SC/ST, Reservation, Special Reservation, PwD candidates.
  • The candidate who got the highest score will be preferred first for OTET seat allotment in comparison with other candidates.

Odisha TET Certificate

  • TET certificate serves as the eligibility for the appointment of teachers in various government, private schools.
  • A candidate who has already acquired the certificate can also appear for the Odisha TET exam to improve the marks.
  • Validity: NCTE has recently extended the validity period of TET certificates. So, from now onwards, candidates who qualify for the TET exam can use a TET certificate for a period of a lifetime. These changes also imply Odisha TET.

Odisha TET 2021 Exam Pattern

In the OTET exam, two papers are Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper I is for Primary Level Exam for those candidates who are going for Teacher Eligibility Certificate in Class I to V. And similarly Paper II is for Upper Primary Level that is for those who want the Certificate for teaching Class VI to VIII. The Paper I and Paper II patterns are given here in details.

Odisha TET 2021 Preparation Tips

Candidates can follow the given preparation tips during their exam preparation. These tips will help the candidates to score good marks in the OTET entrance exam and hence qualify for the exam.

Following are some preparation tips that will help the candidate to score well:

  • The candidate must have to practice as many questions papers and sample papers to increase the speed and accuracy.
  • OSS TET syllabus is huge, candidates must prepare regularly for the exam and manage the proper timetable.
  • While preparing, candidates have to analyze strong and week topics and work hard on the weak sections. Candidates first have to Clear the basic concept. 
  • Candidates must stay focused and avoid wasting their time.

OTET 2021 Application Form

Board of Secondary Education, Odisha will release the OTET 2021 application form in online mode only. The application form for OTET 2021 is supposed to release in July 2021. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before submission of the registration forms. Initially, Applicants have to pay the registration fee after filling their registration form. The application fee of the candidate varies according to their category. All the candidates who want to participate in the exam have to submit their application form before the last date. Any application submitted by the candidate after the last date will not be accepted by the authority. Candidates can fill the Registration Form by following the simple steps given below.
  • First of all, candidates need to visit the official website of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
  • Candidates have to click on the link of new registration available on the web page where they will be asked to enter the details such as name, password, mobile number, and email ID and click on it.
  • After entering all the basic details, candidates have to submit them. Candidates will get then login details to fill the Application Form.
  • The applicants then have to fill in all the correct and complete details in the Registration Form such as personal details and educational details etc.
  • Candidates are advised to check all the details again before the final submission of the Application Form.

OTET 2021 Application Fee

Modes of Payment: The candidate can pay the Odisha TET 2021 Registration fee by any of the following methods:
  • online (SBI debit card/ SBI net banking) or 
  • offline (SBI Challan) mode.

OTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates who are interested  to become a teacher in the schools of Odisha State must go through OTET 2021 Eligibility, which is given below:

  • Candidates must belong to India.
  • OSSTET 2021 applicants must be able to read and write in Odia.
  • Interested applicants must have passed the Higher Senior secondary examination conducted by BSE Odisha or any other recognised board with Odia as one of the main subjects, i.e., First/ Second/ Third Language.
  • The applicants must have passed the Odia exam of Class 10 (Single Subject Examination) conducted by BSE Odisha.
  • There is no upper age limit to apply in this test.
  • OTET 2021 is conducted in two different papers. Candidate must check their eligibility criteria according to the exam chosen by them.
Education Qualification

Candidates having the following minimum qualifications shall be eligible for appearing in OTET.

Category-A ( Paper- I )
  • Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education(CT or D.El.Ed). OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations. OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Education.
Category-B ( Paper-II )
  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR
  • Graduation with minimum 45% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations. OR
  • Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and one-year B.Ed.(Special Education). OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and four years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and four-year B.A./ B.Sc, Ed or B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC category will be provided relaxation of 5% minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level.
