Nagaland University Admission 2023 is purely based on candidate merit in the last qualifying exam. University accepts the scores of various national-level exams. NU Nagaland is a Central Government University established in the year 1989 in Kohima, Nagaland. The university was established under the motive of Labor et Honor which means By Labour and Honour, which means that we should work like labor with honor. the university has acclaimed many accreditations like It was ranked 95 among universities in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2018. It is also UGC approved University.
The university has four campuses: Headquarters at Lumami in Zunheboto district, Kohima Campus at Meriema in Kohima district, Medziphema Campus (School of Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development) at Medziphema in Dimapur district and, a temporary campus at Dimapur with two Schools (School of Engineering & Technology and School of Management Studies). 37 departments are offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate and Ph.D. programs in different disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering & Technology, and Management streams. There are 65 colleges from all over the state of Nagaland currently affiliated to Nagaland University.

Nagaland University offers a B.Tech programme in 5 specializations under its UG program. It also offers B.Tech Lateral entry admission in the same specializations as of the regular program. Nagaland University PG Admission 2023
Nagaland University offers MBA, MA, M.Com, and M.Sc programs at the PG level. The university also offers a PG Diploma course in Mass Communication. The candidate must have a graduation degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks for admission in any of the courses. Nagaland University PhD Admission 2023
The University offers Ph.D. in various specializations. Applicants are required to score at least 50% marks/ 5 out of 10 points CGPA for admission in Ph.D. programs. The application form for applying to any of the courses under the Ph.D. programs can be obtained from the university website. Nagaland University Application Form 2023
Following is the Application Process of Nagaland University :
- Application is made through the online process only.
- Visit the Official website of the university i.e. https://nagalanduniversity.ac.in/English/Admission.
- Fill all the details properly and authentically.
- Then make all the details verified by the online system of the university.
- Then upload the scanned copies of all the asked documents in the mentioned format.
- Upload the applicant's signature and Recent passport size photograph in the prescribed format.
- Then pay the Application fee through the mentioned mode of payment.
- The application fee is submitted online through the SBI I-Collect window.
- Application Fees is Rs. 200/-
- Candidates are advised to make payment first then start filling up the application form.
Note: For applying for separate courses, the candidate needs to fill the form separately and make the payment separately.
Nagaland University Reservation Criteria 2023
Following is the reservation criteria of Nagaland University Admission 2023 according to the rules set by the Government of India :
- 27% of the total seats are given to Other Backward Caste (OBC).
- 21% of the total seats are given to the Scheduled Castes (SC).
- 2% of the total seats are given to the Scheduled Tribe (ST).
- The Horizontal reservation will be given to the eligible candidates as per existing rules of the state Government and University concerned.
