CEPT Entrance 2022 Syllabus: Important Topics, Preparation Tips

The Syllabus for CEPT Entrance Exam 2022 is not provided by the CEPT university. CEPT University holds an entrance exam for admission to its three-year Bachelor's Degree Program (UG) and two-year Master's Degree Program (PG) in Interior Design, Urban Design and Management, Architecture, Design, and Construction Technology, and other related fields Candidates are urged, however, to work on the issues linked to the disciplines listed in the table below, as appropriate to their course.
CEPT Entrance Zone 2022 Syllabus
The CEPT 2022 Entrance Exam Syllabus consists of subjects like Visual Perception and Logical Reasoning, Making and Creativity, Drawing and Perception, and Colour Perception and Association. | General Awareness | Applicants should study themes such as Indian culture and history, Indian politics, geography, national and international current events, famous people, and the environment, among others. These subjects will be covered as part of the Social and Cultural Awareness course. |
| Mathematical Ability | Equations, Geometry, Algebra, Differential Calculus, Co-Ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, and Modern Mathematics are recommended for applicants. |
| Verbal/English Ability | Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Antonym Synonyms, Idioms and Phrases, Grammar, Sentence Correction, Basic Voice and Tenses, and Error Spotting are all recommended for applicants. |
| Construction Awareness | Applicants must cover the fundamentals of construction, including building types and materials, legal aspects of construction, well-known companies, and contemporary construction issues. |
| Visual Perception | Students must be able to recognize patterns in figures, discern figures and designs based on size and qualities, and so on. This is essentially a form of visual reasoning, but with a design bent. |
| Color Understanding | Applicants must know the different types of colors, how to use them, how to convey and interpret them, as well as the qualities of colors. |
| Analytical Ability | Applicants must perform basic thinking themes such as Number Series, Alphabet Series, Direction Sense, Blood Relations, Input-Output, Visual Reasoning, and Data Interpretation to pass this course. |
| Creative writing, Drawing, and Creation | These subjects do not have a curriculum. Applicants only need to practice drawing and creating on a variety of subjects and be familiar with the use of various materials. For the written ability test, applicants must be familiar with a variety of current issues and themes. |
Seat Allotment in CEPT Entrance Exam
- The number of seats available in each of the programs varies per course. Furthermore, because the number of places in each program is limited, the cut-off may fluctuate from course to course despite the common entrance exam.
- The number of seats available through the CEPT Entrance Exam Details for all undergraduate programs is set at 40.

CEPT Entrance Exam 2022 Preparation Tips
For each course, the exam is held once a year. Applicants are encouraged to avoid making any mistakes that could result in them being ineligible to take the exam. To avoid any problems on exam day, candidates are urged to follow the procedures stated below: -
- Applicants must arrive at least an hour before the examination begins.
- They must remember to bring their Admit Card and a valid photo ID to the exam.
- Applicants are suggested to bring items such as a pen, pencil, sketch pen, colors, and other materials. These will not be available at the exam location.
- The seat number of a candidate is determined by the application form number or the final five digits. Applicants are recommended to use this information to swiftly locate their seats.
- In Construction Technology exams, scientific calculators are permitted, but programmable calculators are not.
- Applicants are strongly urged not to use unfair examination procedures in any way.
