Karnataka DCET 2023 is scheduled to be at a state level. Karnataka Diploma CET is conducted once a year to offer admissions in the Second Year Engineering Courses and the first-year Architecture Course under the Lateral Entry Scheme for Day and Evening Engineering Colleges. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared the mock allotment result for Round 1 of Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test, DCET-2023. The Karnataka Diploma CET round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on January 20, 2023 after 2:00 PM. The last date of reporting for round 1 allotment will come to an end on January 24, 2023.

The document verification process for eligible candidates who qualified for the Karnataka DCET 2023 was conducted from November 10 to 13, 2023. Candidates had to report to their designated centers for verification of their original documents.

Candidates can fill the Diploma CET Online Application 2023 on the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority. Check the all essential information regarding Karnataka DCET registration given below:

  • Candidates can apply for the DCET application form through the online mode on the official website.
  • Candidates first need to register themselves and create their user ID and password.
  • After that, candidates need to DCET 2023 login with their user ID and password and fill in all the required details.

Karnataka DCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must possess the citizenship of India.
Academic Qualification
  • Candidates must secure 45% passing marks in the qualifying exam (in the case of SC/ST candidates need 40% passing marks).
  • Candidates must pass any diploma examination or equivalent exam.
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience after the diploma as of 01 September 2023.
  • Those who wish to apply for B.Arch must have a valid score of NATA.

Karnataka Development Authority will release the DCET admit card online mode.

  • Candidates can download the admit card from the official website i.e. kea.kar.nic.in.
  • Candidates have to enter their Application number and DOB to log into their account and download the DCET admit card.
  • Hall Ticket contains all the vital information related to the candidate and exam such as Name, Fathers name, Exam centre details, exam date and time, general instructions.
  • All the candidates must bring the hard copy of the admit card along with valid id proof to the allotted exam centre.

Karnataka DCET 2023 Answer Key

Given below are the all-important details of the Karnataka DCET 2023 Answer key:

  • Authority will release the answer key on the official website after the completion of an entrance examination.
  • Candidates, parents or lecturer can fill the objection form to the Executive Director, Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore along with all documents or justification.
  • Authority will not accept the Objections received from the candidates without justification.
  • The final answer key will be used for the evaluation of the result.

Karnataka DCET 2023 Result

The merit list of diploma holders for Day and Evening College B.E/B. Tech Courses will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the final year examination or fifth and sixth semesters examination leading to a diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering (Internal assessment marks will be considered for determination of merit in case of semester students, where internal assessment marks are counted for declaring the diploma result) and marks obtained in the Diploma CET 2023 taken in equal proportions.

All the candidates (SC, ST Category – I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and GM category) must compulsorily produce the STUDY CERTIFICATE obtained from the heads of the institutions where the candidates have passed the 10th standard / SSLC examination / Diploma Examination.

Documents required at the time of Counselling or Admission

Candidates need to submit the following documents at the time of document verification:

  • Print out a copy of DCET 2023 Application Form
  • Original copy of the challan 
  • DCET Admit card
  • DCET Result 2023
  • SSLC / 10th Standard / Equivalent Examination Marks Card
  • Diploma or Equivalent Examination Marks Card of all the Years / Semesters
  • Study Certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO / DDPI (Only for Karnataka Candidates)
  • Two recent passport size Colour Photographs

Karnataka DCET 2023 or Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test is an entrance exam which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
