The merit list of diploma holders for Day and Evening College B.E/B. Tech Courses will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the final year examination or fifth and sixth semesters examination leading to a diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering (Internal assessment marks will be considered for determination of merit in case of semester students, where internal assessment marks are counted for declaring the diploma result) and marks obtained in the Diploma CET 2021 taken in equal proportions.
All the candidates (SC, ST Category – I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and GM category) must compulsorily produce the STUDY CERTIFICATE obtained from the heads of the institutions where the candidates have passed the 10th standard / SSLC examination / Diploma Examination.

Karnataka DCET 2020 or Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test is an entrance exam which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The common DCET 2021 exam is a gateway for admissions in Second-year undergraduate engineering programmes and First-year undergraduate architecture programmes provided under the lateral entry scheme. These courses are offered at both day and evening engineering colleges located in Karnataka. The exam conducted in offline format or pen-paper mode.
Government of Karnataka established Common Entrance Test Cell in 1994 for conducting the entrance test and determining the eligibility/merit, for admission to the first year of full-time professional courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering/Architecture Courses, Farm Science i.e, B.sc. (Agriculture), B.sc. (Sericulture), B.sc (Horticulture), B.sc(Forestry), B.sc. Agri Bio Tech, BHSc.(Home Science), B.Tech (Agri.Engg), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Tech), B.FSc.(Fisheries), B.Tech (Food Science & Tech)., B.Sc. When is KAR DCET 2020 starts and it's important dates regarding syllabus and pattern? I went through KEA official website and all sources but still there is no any updates or notification regarding same.. kindly give me complete details and information regarding same
