The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared the mock allotment result for Round 1 of Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test, DCET-2022.

• The Karnataka Diploma CET round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on January 20, 2023 after 2:00 PM.
• The last date of reporting for round 1 allotment will come to an end on January 24, 2023.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for Karnataka Diploma CET 2022

Candidates can check the rules followed by KEA authorities to break the tie if two candidates got equal marks:-

•  An inter-se-merit will be prepared with reference to the marks secured in the entrance test
• If the tie still exists, Candidates who got the highest marks in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year will be considered
• If there is still a tie, Candidates who got the highest marks in 1st year will be considered.
• And if the tie is still not resolved, Candidates who are older in age will be considered.

Candidates are required to submit their original documents for verification to confirm their admission. After the documents are verified KEA authority will issue a verification slip. Candidates then have to mention their choices for courses through online mode using their account. Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of order in merit and priority of choices received by the candidates.
