How to Stay Healthy While Preparing for Entrance Exams

0

We all know how stressful any exam or test can be, but nothing can beat the anxiety level of the entrance exams, and it’s understood why: they are the key factor whether you get enrolled in the university or not. They come in many forms: tests, riting essays at the college, submitting the ready ones, projects and many more, and each of those requires thorough preparation, which means – your energy too. Below we collected the healthy lifestyle tips for students who want to do the best preparation they can without ending up at the hospital.

Take Care of Your Nutrition

This one of the most important tips for exams even though it’s not directly connected with studying. Because you’re going to do mental work, your brain needs good fuel in the form of good food, which would facilitate your thinking ability. From this perspective, refrain from overprocessed or fast-food and switch to fresh fruits and veggies. Don’t forget to eat nuts as they are very rich in micro and macroelements and vitamins to keep you going. Of course, drink enough water to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Get Help

It might be not the exam itself that is very tiring but the understanding that your future career depends on it. This is why we usually tend to do everything possible to get prepared for the college or university exams the best we can: we study with tutors, search for the perfect essay for sale online, dive into self-study and don’t see the world until we made it. The problem here is that overdoing it may cause a huge temporary disorder to our mental health, affect our sleeping, eating, and even behavior. We recommend you to always get help from the source you trust to split that burden and at least reduce the stress level that entails the preparation. And if you need to get an advantage from those university essays for sale online, believe us, in the long run, it seems like a better idea than having a mental breakdown.

Exercise

However important the exams are, you should never forget to forget about it for some 30 minutes, and exercising is a great way to do it with a lot of benefits for your health. By doing any sports activity, yoga, dancing or anything that makes your muscles work, you charge your body with fresh oxygen and make the blood circulate in your body to bring the useful elements to your vital organs. Plus, you probably sit for the whole time while reading or looking for the essay for sales on the web, so a bit of moving will definitely benefit your back and legs.

Cheer Yourself Up

Your health also includes your mood, and to be in the best mood is the main prerequisite to study up. How can you do it? Allow yourself 5 minutes for looking at beautiful pictures after each hour spent on searching for argumentative essay topics or the entire essay for sale. Thank yourself for the work you do daily and reflect on how it brings you closer to studying at the college or university of your dream. Whatever comes on your way, find the positive sides to it and maintain a calm state of mind. Sometimes, inner motivation and self-treats work well too. Let’s say, you really want to watch the episode of Stranger Things, so make a deal with yourself: if you do what needs to be done on time you’ve planned, you can watch it. Just don’t get caught and finish the season in one day: that leads to the sleeping disorder, and we both know where it can end.

While preparation is the key factor in passing any exam, you definitely should take care of your health to be able to carry on. And because you know now how to maintain good health during this important time in your life, you’re safe from the troubles that can happen to people who don’t pay attention to themselves. Of course, having a super-mind is cool but what’s the use of it without being healthy?

Digital Education: Pros and Cons

0

Currently, society has incorporated ICT into different areas of life, such as the daily use of smartphones to today’s integration of robots with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in companies. In the case of education, these technologies have also completely transformed how students learn and how teachers teach in classrooms, especially considering that the current generations of children and youth (Centennials) are digital natives; that is, those who base their communication and interaction through these tools.

However, as parents, the use of technology in education can generate some concerns about the impact they have on their learning experiences. Therefore, in this article, we’ll discuss in length some of the benefits and disadvantages concerning the issue of digital learning, also called digital education.

Advantages of the Use of Digital Tools in Education

1.       Quick access to information

The main benefit that is realized when using the internet and digital devices in the classroom is that they represent an open the door to a huge universe of information. Online students can find a wide range of content from many areas, which increases their knowledge.

2.       Self-learning and autonomy

When students master the use of computers or other digital technologies, they are better able to learn for themselves, given the many educational possibilities available on the Internet. You can take online courses, access webinars, and tutorials, etc. This means that the student acquires much more autonomy because he can decide what he is interested in learning.

3.       Horizontal communication

The emergence of digital technologies within schools has revolutionized the way of teaching that teachers had until now. The classes in which the teacher explained and the students were limited to listening and taking notes, tend to disappear. The new technologies encourage a much more participatory education in which there is feedback between students and teachers.

4.       Learning aid

Digital learning resources contribute to the learning of school children, as they increase the teaching techniques of teachers. Now teachers can rely on online, animated presentations, audio, and video, etc. It is proven that these systems favor the attention and concentration levels of students, so school results will be better than with traditional tactics.

5.       More interactivity

For students, the inclusion of tech in the classroom has become a more attractive form of interaction and entertainment, which greatly increases their interest. With this, they feel motivated to have tools that promote access to a variety of educational activities in the same place, for example, the use of educational apps for teaching languages, mathematics, grammar, history, etc.

This also allows them to manage their learning autonomously and personalized at their own pace, using the materials that most attract their attention and are enriching for their learning experience. Undoubtedly, this ability will be very useful as they grow.

6.       Improved students creativity

On the other hand, technologies encourage students’ creativity due to the contact they have with various sources of information and formats (videos, texts, audio, among others). This, in turn, causes logical understanding and reasoning to be faster.

7.       Efficient performance evaluation

Finally, performance evaluation processes are more efficient and accurate. Thus, as a parent, you can have a better track of your child’s educational progress.

Disadvantages of digital learning

1.       Information quality

Although with access to the internet, students can get to access a lot of information, however, there is a major disadvantage. As is with many internet-based tools or services, an essay pro review  puts it succinctly that users, including students, stand to be “completely satisfied” or “be disappointed” with what’s offered in the digital space. Students run the risk of finding erroneous, false and even fraudulent content.

2.       Requires previous training

To make proper use of new technologies, students must know how to handle them. This requires prior training in computer science and information and communication technologies (ICT). And it is still not very well defined who should give such training, whether the school or the families. The truth is that computer subjects are included in school programs, but sometimes, it is not enough. So parents should also make an effort in this regard.

3.       School investment

Equipping a classroom with computer resources and mobile devices is not cheap. It requires an economic investment by the educational center not only when buying the equipment, but also in its maintenance. Computers, tablets, and mobiles are delicate devices and if you add that they are going to have to go through many hands, the risk of them breaking down grows exponentially.

4.       Social inequality

Although it may seem that internet access is now common to everyone, the truth is that there are still many families who cannot afford it. Therefore, it can create social inequalities within the classroom and between classmates. It is advised, therefore, that teachers carry out their technological lessons in the classroom so that children who do not have adequate equipment are not relegated.

5.       They can create dependency

The use of technology can generate mental laziness in students. These tools simplify the resolution of tasks or activities with a single click, preventing them from analyzing in detail what they are learning. According to Apples, 85% of mobile users consider these devices indispensable in their daily lives. It is a sample of how addictive devices such as tablets or laptops can be. Therefore, schools must instill a prudential use of these technological resources, because if not, they can become counterproductive.

For example, in the case of grammar tasks, the autocorrect program for smart devices prevents students from realizing their mistakes and depending on the suggestions they receive from those tools. The same applies to calculation work, where children or young people lose the numerical ability to perform operations without the use of calculators.

They become dependent on technology, which can cause their learning to slow down or obtain false or unreliable information from websites by not having adequate pedagogical support.

Bottom Line

Certainly, technology in education brings great advantages for students, teachers, and parents. However, children and young people must obtain a correct formative orientation that encourages them to use these tools for their benefit, instead of interrupting their education.

Which online services students may rely on

0

Being a student is fun. All in all, we spend some of the best years of our lives in college. But it can also be exhausting and demanding at the same time. Luckily for all of us, cat memes are not the only thing the internet has to offer, and there’s plenty of websites to help you on your academic journey. Whether you need assistance while writing an essay or a reminder to go to bed on time, these online services will be sure to make your life a bit easier. So, if you’ve been looking for services to count on, today is your lucky day. Keep on reading!

1. If you need help with writing an essay

When you are not quite sure how to start writing an essay, looking at some examples online may be extremely helpful. High-quality samples, tips regarding writing, and so much more; it’s all there! We put this website at the top of our list as it is the tool that will probably be the most useful throughout your study years.

2. If you need help with grammar

The grammar of the English language is not everyone’s forte, and going over a written assignment looking for mistakes may be exhausting. No matter how hard you try, you always seem to miss a typo or an extra comma? Grammarly is one beloved services by university students. Not only does it spot grammar mistakes immediately, but it also offers suggestions on how to improve the readability and tone of your writing. You can always count on the power of technology and use the website as your trusted helper on your academic journey.

3. If you want to eat healthily

For many students, eating healthy food may seem like a dream that sometimes appears somewhere in between all of the instant ramen packs and pizza boxes. While college parties are fun, being healthy is not to be neglected. If you look inside the fridge and don’t know what to cook from the products you have, RecipePuppy is what you need. It differs from other recipe services because you can actually search by the products you already have. And if you cook with your friends, what can be a better university experience?

4. If you feel a bit sick

Of course, the best option would be to visit a medical specialist. However, if you want to check your current health status and don’t really want to leave the room, the WebMD symptom checker will be there to help you. Keep in mind that no online services can ever replace the face-to-face meeting with a medical professional; so, if you’re truly concerned about your health, go to the health center of your university or college.

Note: Check complete details of JEE Main 2021 exam here.

5. If you can’t go to bed on time

Staying up too late is one of the side-effects of being a student. Whether it is because of a party or an upcoming exam, you know the feeling of being exhausted as soon as you wake up. Partially it is related to our natural sleeping patterns, which, if disrupted, will result in you being tired even after a long night’s sleep. SleepyTime is an online service that will tell you the best time for you to fall asleep if you want to wake up at a certain time. Feeling refreshed in the morning has never been easier.

6. If you want to stop procrastinating

We all know the feeling of setting a task aside until the deadline is a way to close. Many college students struggle from procrastination, and if you’re one of them, don’t you worry anymore. The Pomodoro Technique is probably one of the oldest time-management methods. The point is to focus on a task for about 25 minutes and then take a short break. Online, you’ll find many services that will help you manage your time according to the technique. Otherwise, you can always use a timer on your phone.

7. If you want to learn something new

Is there a better way to learn about a subject than from an expert? We don’t think so. TED Talks is one of the best online services for students who count on learning in their free time. Whether you want to hear psychological facts, new discoveries in astronomy, or find a little motivation, you can count on TED Talks to give you exactly what you need.

Regardless of what concerns you, is it an essay or some routing stuff, there are numerous examples of online services and tools always there for you to count on when you study, and some of them are even free. New healthy recipes? You got it! A little motivation? Get that tool online! A Free writing helper? You name it! Good luck with the rest of your years at university.
