Assam University Silchar UG Admission 2022
At the Undergraduate level, Assam University offers various courses such as B.Tech, B.Pharm, Bachelor in Performing Arts (BPA), Bachelor in Visual Arts (BVA), and B.Voc program. The university also offers B.Tech Lateral programme along with BA – LLB, B.Sc. – M.Sc. and B.Sc. – B.Ed. integrated courses at the Undergraduate level. For admission in UG programmes along with Integrated courses, candidates must have passed the class 10+2 examination from a recognized board. Assam University Silchar PG Admission 2022
AU offers Master of Technology (M.Tech), MBA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc., M.Ed., M.L.I.Sc, MVA, MSW, and LLM degree course at the postgraduate level for the duration of two years. For admission to the M.Tech course, candidates must have passed BE/B.Tech our equivalent degree course with a minimum of 55% marks. Admission is done on the basis of CUCET entrance examination. However, GATE-qualified candidates are given preference. For MBA , candidates must appear in CAT exam. Candidates who do not have a valid CAT score will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the Department. Admission in all the other PG courses is based on the written test and interview. Assam University Ph.D. , MPhil and D.Litt. Admission 2022
The University offers M.Phil and Ph.D. course in various specializations. D.Litt course in Mass Communication. For admission in Ph.D. / M.Phil courses, candidate must have done Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks. For D.Litt, candidate must have Graduation degree with atleast 45% marks Major/Honours or 50% in Pass Course. Assam University Diploma And Certificate Admission 2022
Assam University offers UG Diploma course in French Language and PG diploma course in eight disciplines. The university also offers one year Certificate course in French Language. For UG diploma course, candidates should have passed Matriculation from any recognized board. For Post-Graduation Diploma and Certificate course, candidates must have done completed graduation in a relevant discipline. Admission in UG & PG Diploma and Certificate course is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

How to Apply for Assam University Admission Process 2022?
The university offers online application process for UG, PG, M.Phil/ Ph.D. Given below are the detailed steps in order to apply for Assam University Admission 2022:
- Visit the official website of the AU Silchar i.e. http://www.aus.ac.in/.
- Register by filling the personal information and uploading a scanned passport size photograph.
- After registration, fill the form with valid information.
- Pay the application fee of Rs 500 (Rs 300 for SC/ ST/ and PwD) in online mode via credit/debit card and Net Banking.
- Click on “Submit” button to finally submit the application form.
- After successful submission of application form an acknowledgment will be sent to the candidate’s registered email id.
- Candidates can apply for a maximum of two courses only and separate application has to be submitted for each course.

Assam University has a career counselling and placement division. Assam University Facilities
- Assam University's major library houses a collection of around 127,000 books. It also offers over 1,100 print and online journal subscriptions. Furthermore, the e-Shodh Sindhu (INFLIBNET), DELNET, and DELCON consortiums provide access to approximately 10,000 electronic materials that may be accessed from anywhere on campus. With the support of Koha Integrated Library Management Software, the library delivers all academic library services in an automated setting (ILMS). It contains a reading area with a seating capacity of 200 people and a 20-node Internet access lab.
- Games and Sports: Every year, the University hosts an Annual Social Meet, which includes cultural activities as well as indoor and outdoor sports. The University is a member of the Interuniversity Sports Board of India, and its teams compete in Zonal and All-India University Tournaments, bringing the University laurels, prizes, and medals. The Central Sports Complex, which is now under construction, is planned to increase games and sports, as well as other extracurricular activities, among Assam University students.
- On the University campus, there are currently nine hostels, four for boys and five for ladies. The hostels are equipped with the necessities. Seats in the hostel are limited, and not every student will be able to secure one. The number of seats available is determined by the number of vacancies in the hostel.
