CUCET 2020 Exam is postponed till any further notice. Candidates who are interested can apply through online mode till 06 June 2020 due to coronavirus crisis. CUCET 2020 exam conducted in online(Computer-Based Test) mode. Central Universities Common Entrance Test will be conducted by Central Universities of 15 States to offer the admissions into various degree Postgraduate (PG), Undergraduate (UG) and Research Programs (RP) courses offered. Admission is provided into B.Tech, B.Sc, Integrated B.Sc, M.Sc, M.A, etc. courses.  The candidate has to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

CUCET 2020 Application Form

Candidates can apply for CUCET online registration 2020 from the 16 March 2020. Check CUCET 2020 application form details given below carefully:

  • Candidates can fill the application form in online mode.
  • They need to fill the complete details carefully in the form like educational details, personal details, etc as the details won't be rectified.
  • Candidates will have to upload passport size photograph and signature according to the prescribed format.
  • The application form can be submitted until 06 June 2020.
  • Candidates can fill three university choices and three courses for each university.
  • Applicants are advised to take a printout of the application form.

Mode of Payment: The CUCET 2020 application form can be paid through online and offline mode.

  • Candidates can pay the online fee via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
  • The offline fee can be paid via e-Challan of SBI bank only.

The eligibility required for admissions in different colleges will vary from each other. The candidates can get the detailed criteria from the official website of the particular college.  However, the basic CUCET 2020 eligibility criteria for different programs are given as under:

  • For UG degree program: The aspiring candidates should have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board/ university.
  • For PG degree program: The applicants who have done their bachelor’s degree in the relevant field can apply for admissions in Post Graduate courses.
  • For Ph.D. degree program: The candidates should hold a master’s degree provided by a recognized institute or university.

Note: The candidates appearing in their qualifying exam of 12th in the year 2020 are also eligible.

CUCET 2020 Admit Card

Candidates will be able to download their CUCET 2020 Admit Card from the official website once the application process is over. To download the hall ticket, candidates will have to enter their registration id and date of birth with a one-time-password as well.

  • The admit card will be available online after the completion of the application process.
  • Candidates are advised to verify the complete details in the admit card carefully i.e. exam center, time, date, address, etc. before downloading the admit card.
  • They must bring the exam ticket of the CUCET on the exam day otherwise they will not be allowed to sit in the exam strictly.

CUCET 2020 Exam Pattern 

Candidates must be aware of the CUCET 2020 Exam Pattern as to prepare for the test accordingly. The complete structure of CUCET 2020 examination is as follows-

  • CUCET will be conducted in an offline mode (Paper-Based Test)
  • Paper will consist of two parts.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
  • The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Total of 100 questions will be asked.
  • There will be a total of 4 sections in the question paper.
  • +3 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • -1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

CUCET 2020 Syllabus

Syllabus for UG Courses:

  • Physics: Magnetics effect of current, matter, heat and thermodynamics, waves, electrostatics, current electricity, linear momentum and collision, rotational of a rigid body about a fixed axis, measurements, motion in one dimension, motions in two dimensions, the law of motions, power, and energy, work
  • Chemistry: Redox reactions, chemical bonding, general organic chemistry, thermodynamics, colligative properties of solutions, isomerism, polymers, the periodic table, electrochemistry, catalysis, colloids, chemical equilibrium and kinetics, acid-base concepts, solid-state and petroleum, atomic structure
  • Mathematics: Trigonometry, probability, algebra, dynamic and statics, calculus, vector, co-ordinate geometry
  • Biology: Mechanism of organic evolution, the origin of life, human genetics, animal physiology and comparison between Periplaneta and Blatta, applied biology, protoplasm, ecology, cell differentiation plant tissue, stem and leaf, soil and photosynthesis

Syllabus for PG Courses:

  • A./M.Ed. Courses: Culture and social change, education and philosophy, learning and motivation, growth and development, intelligence, a current issue, personality, teaching process, method of teaching
  • LLM Courses: Public international law, human rights law, property law, constitution, the law of torts, criminal law- Indian panel law, the law of evidence, criminal and women law, Labour law, environmental law, the law relating the international trade

CUCET 2020 Answer Key

The exam conducting authority will release the CUCET 2020 Answer Key for the candidates. The answer key will be released on the 25 May 2020 for the UG & PG courses and 01 June 2020 for the Research Programs (RP).

  • Through the answer key, candidates can calculate their marks obtained in the entrance exam roughly.
  • If any candidate has any objection regarding the answer key, they can object the answer key with providing the given proof.
  • After then, the final answer key will be released on the 01 June 2020 for the UG & PG courses and 08 June 2020 for the Research Programs (RP).

CUCET 2020 Results

Candidates can check their CUCET 2020 Result online on the official website after the commencement of the exam. Check details below:

  • Results will be prepared by the authority on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination.
  • The central universities will prepare the merit list for Under Graduate and Post Graduate students on the basis of marks obtained by the students in the exam.
  • The scorecard can be checked by the students by entering their User id and password online.

CUCET 2020 Cut Off

The Central Universities will release their CUCET 2020 cutoff in an online mode. The cut off will get prepared on the basis of candidate's performance in the common entrance examination.

  • Candidates have to score good marks to be eligible for admission to the university.
  • The cut off will be prepared based on various factors like the availability of seats and the candidate's performance in the exam.

CUCET 2020 Counselling

After the announcement of the results, shortlisted candidates will be allowed to attend the counselling process. The universities will organize their separate counselling online. Through that counselling, seats will be allotted to the candidates.

  • Candidates who wish to secure admission in universities are advised to fill the admission form of the respective university only.
  • On the day of counselling, candidates have to carry admission form with various other relevant documents.
  • Candidates have to carry original documents for admission procedure as well as the photocopies.
