CUCET 2021 is a National level Exam that will be conducted in the third week of May 2021 tentatively by one of the Central Universities of India. It is conducted annually at the national level. This exam is also called Central Universities Common Entrance Test. The exam will be conducted in offline mode for UG & PG Programmes & via online (Computer-Based Test) mode for Doctoral programs. Central Universities Common Entrance Test will be conducted by Central Universities of 15 States to offer the admissions into various degree Postgraduate (PG), Undergraduate (UG), and Research Programs (RP) courses offered. Admission is provided into B. Tech, B.Sc, Integrated B.Sc, M.Sc, M.A, etc. courses. Candidates can get detailed information regarding CUCET 2021 from the below article.

CUCET 2021 Application Form

Candidates can apply for CUCET online registration 2021 from March 2021. Check CUCET 2021 application form details given below carefully:
  • Candidates can fill the application form in online mode.
  • They need to fill in the complete details carefully in the form like educational details, personal details, etc as the details won't be rectified.
  • Candidates will have to upload passport size photographs and signatures according to the prescribed format.
  • The application form can be submitted until April 2021.
  • Candidates can fill three university choices and three courses for each university.
  • Applicants are advised to take a printout of the application form.

Mode of Payment: The CUCET 2021 application form can be paid through online and offline mode.
  • Candidates can pay the online fee via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
  • The offline fee can be paid via e-Challan of SBI bank only.

The eligibility required for admissions in different colleges will vary from each other. The candidates can get detailed criteria from the official website of the particular college.  However, the basic CUCET 2021 eligibility criteria for different programs are given as under:

  • For the UG degree program: The aspiring candidates should have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board/ university.
  • For PG degree program: The applicants who have done their bachelor’s degree in the relevant field can apply for admissions in Post Graduate courses.
  • For the Ph.D. degree program: The candidates should hold a master’s degree provided by a recognized institute or university.
Note: The candidates appearing in their qualifying exam of 12th in the year 2021 are also eligible

CUCET 2021 Exam Pattern 

Candidates must be aware of the CUCET 2021 Exam Pattern to prepare for the test accordingly. The complete structure of the CUCET 2021 examination is as follows-

  • CUCET will be conducted in an offline mode (Paper-Based Test)
  • The Paper will consist of two parts.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
  • The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions.
  • A total of 100 questions will be asked.
  • There will be a total of 4 sections in the question paper.
  • +3 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • -1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

  • Physics: Magnetics effect of current, matter, heat and thermodynamics, waves, electrostatics, current electricity, linear momentum and collision, rotational of a rigid body about a fixed axis, measurements, motion in one dimension, motions in two dimensions, the law of motions, power, and energy, work
  • Chemistry: Redox reactions, chemical bonding, general organic chemistry, thermodynamics, colligative properties of solutions, isomerism, polymers, the periodic table, electrochemistry, catalysis, colloids, chemical equilibrium and kinetics, acid-base concepts, solid-state and petroleum, atomic structure

CUCET 2021 Preparation Tips

Experts of various schools, subject matter experts, coaching centers give some expert tips for preparing for the entrance exam. Candidates can check some expert tips below for CUCET 2021.

  • Complete the easy topics first and then move to difficult ones which will lead to the boosting of the confidence of the students.
  • First, cover the complete syllabus of the NCERT book for preparation of all the sections. 
  • Don't just stay up to only 1 book for preparation rather refer to 2-3 books for preparation.
  • Practice the questions as much as you can. Practise makes a man perfect. You’ll never forget things or questions you have practiced. Only reading the answers makes you forget things easily. 
  • Practice as many mock tests and previous year's question papers as you can.

CUCET 2021 Admit Card

Candidates will be able to download their CUCET 2021 Admit Card from the official website once the application process is over. To download the hall ticket, candidates will have to enter their registration id and date of birth with a one-time-password as well.
  • The admit card will be available online after the completion of the application process.
  • Candidates are advised to verify the complete details in the admit card carefully i.e. exam center, time, date, address, etc. before downloading the admit card.
  • They must bring the exam ticket of the CUCET on the exam day otherwise they will not be allowed to sit in the exam strictly.

CUCET 2021 Answer Key

The exam conducting authority will release the CUCET 2021 Answer Key for the candidates. The answer key will be released for the UG & PG courses in the 4th week of May 2021 for the Research Programs (RP).
  • Through the answer key, candidates can calculate their marks obtained in the entrance exam roughly.
  • If any candidate has any objection regarding the answer key, they can object to the answer key by providing the given proof.
  • After then, the final answer key will be released from June 2021 for the UG & PG courses and the Research Programs (RP).

CUCET 2021 Results

Candidates can check their CUCET 2021 Result online on the official website after the commencement of the exam. Check details below:
  • Results will be prepared by the authority based on marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination.
  • The central universities will prepare the merit list for Under Graduate and Post Graduate students based on marks obtained by the students in the exam.
  • The scorecard can be checked by the students by entering their User id and password online.

CUCET 2021 Cut Off

The Central Universities will release their CUCET 2021 cutoff in an online mode. The cut-off will get prepared based on the candidate's performance in the common entrance examination.
  • Candidates have to score good marks to be eligible for admission to the university.
  • The cut-off will be prepared based on various factors like the availability of seats and the candidate's performance in the exam.

CUCET 2021 Counselling

After the announcement of the results, shortlisted candidates will be allowed to attend the counseling process. The universities will organize their separate counseling online. Through that counseling, seats will be allotted to the candidates.

  • Candidates who wish to secure admission to universities are advised to fill the admission form of the respective university only.
  • On the day of counseling, candidates have to carry the admission form with various other relevant documents.
  • Candidates have to carry original documents for the admission procedure as well as the photocopies.
