AMRITA CAPTEST 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility criteria for the AMRITA CAPTEST 2022 is given as follows:

1. For B.A. Mass Communication

• Should have a minimum of 50% in the 10+2 examination or any other equal qualification recognised by the Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi.

Selection Procedure for AMRITA University B.A. Mass Communication

• The selection process will be based on the Communication Aptitude test followed by a personal interview.
• Online Interview mode will be made available for the students who have a genuine reason for not being able to attend the in-person interview.

2. For M.A in Communication and P.G. Diploma in Journalism

• Applicants must have passed their graduation examinations or have a 50 percent aggregate in their 10+2+3 exams.

Selection Procedure for AMRITA University M.A in Communication and P.G. Diploma in Journalism

• The selection process will be based on the Communication Aptitude test.
• The next step is the group discussion (GD) round.
• Shortlisted candidates after the GD round will get to appear for the personal interview.
• Online Interview mode will be made available for the students who have a genuine reasons for not being able to attend the in-person interview.

Candidates who completed their studies at a foreign university should issue a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi. Candidates who scored 70% or higher in their first two years of study shall be exempted from the Communication Aptitude Test.
