AMRITA CAPTEST 2022 Eligibility Criteria is formulated and released officially by AMRITA University. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam should make sure that they fit in the prescribed Eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The Communication Aptitude Test, or CAPTEST 2022, is conducted to assess students' curiosity, aptitude, and ability to adapt to a professional communication course. The exam is conducted annually by AMRITA University. This exam is required for admission to the three-year B.A. in Mass Communication, the two-year M.A. in Communication, and the Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. Amrita University accepts applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
AMRITA CAPTEST 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility criteria for the AMRITA CAPTEST 2022 is given as follows:
1. For B.A. Mass Communication
- Should have a minimum of 50% in the 10+2 examination or any other equal qualification recognised by the Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi.
Selection Procedure for AMRITA University B.A. Mass Communication
- The selection process will be based on the Communication Aptitude test followed by a personal interview.
- Online Interview mode will be made available for the students who have a genuine reason for not being able to attend the in-person interview.
2. For M.A in Communication and P.G. Diploma in Journalism
- Applicants must have passed their graduation examinations or have a 50 percent aggregate in their 10+2+3 exams.
Selection Procedure for AMRITA University M.A in Communication and P.G. Diploma in Journalism
- The selection process will be based on the Communication Aptitude test.
- The next step is the group discussion (GD) round.
- Shortlisted candidates after the GD round will get to appear for the personal interview.
- Online Interview mode will be made available for the students who have a genuine reasons for not being able to attend the in-person interview.
Candidates who completed their studies at a foreign university should issue a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi. Candidates who scored 70% or higher in their first two years of study shall be exempted from the Communication Aptitude Test.
