APPSC 2022 Nationality

The candidates should go through these points regarding Nationality requirements to apply for APPSC 2022:

  • Citizens of India - The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Residents - In addition, interested applicants must be residents of Andhra Pradesh.
APPSC 2022 Age Limit
  • For positions numbered 1, 2, 06, 7, and 9 to 19, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 42.
  • For positions numbered 03 and 04, prospective individuals must be between the ages of 21 and 28.
  • For positions numbered 05, prospective individuals must be between the ages of 21 and 26.
  • For positions numbers 8 and 9, interested individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 26.

APPSC 2022 Educational Qualifications

The specific educational requirements for the positions of District Fire Officer, Asst Treasury Officer/Asst Accounts Officer, and District Social Welfare Officer are mentioned below:

  • The candidate must have a completed Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Fire) from a recognised university or other comparable qualifications.
  • A bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, or mathematics from a UGC-accredited university, or any other equivalent qualifications
  • A completed Bachelor's Degree from an Indian university recognised by the UGC or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act recognised by the UGC
  • Candidates with a degree in sociology or social work will be given preference.
APPSC 2022 Physical Standards 

Applicants for DySP, District Fire Officer, and Jail Superintendent must meet certain physical requirements in order to be considered for the position. Some information about that is provided below:

  • Male candidates in the General Category must be at least 167.6 cm tall and 86.3 cm round on the chest when fully expanded.
  • Schedules Tribe candidates must be at least 164 cm tall and 86.8 cm round on the chest when fully expanded.
  • Female candidates in the General Category must be at least 152.5 cm tall and 86.3 cm round on the chest when fully expanded.
  • Candidates' visual acuity will be tested in two ways: one for distance vision and one for near vision.
