APPSC 2022: Group 1 Exam Centers for Prelims, Mains and Interview, Exam Pattern

APPSC 2022 Exam Centers- Every year, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission publishes a list of exam centres for the APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) Group 1 Exam. Candidates might change their exam centre till a certain deadline. Applicants must go to APPSC's official website, psc.ap.gov.in, to change their exam centre or view the official notice. One of the most difficult exams in the state is the APPSC Group 1 exam. The APPSC Group 1 test is divided into three stages. The stages' names are as follows:
  • Prelims\s
  • Mains\s
  • Interview

Candidates must put forth a lot of effort to pass all of the selection stages. When filling out the APPSC application form, candidates are given the option of selecting their preferred exam centre.

APPSC 2022 Group 1 Exam Centers for Prelims

Group 1 test centres for the APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) can be found all around the state. The commission makes every effort to match candidates' dwelling location with the closest test centre. Candidates should, however, fill out the application as soon as possible in order to secure the exam centre of their choosing. Exam centres are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

The applicants were given three options for APPSC Group 1 exam Centers, and the commission assigned them based on the availability of exam Centers.

The number of applicants for the prelims exam is by far the highest, and as a result, the number of exam centres is also higher.

The following is a list of APPSC Group 1 exam centres:

  • Anantapur
  • Eluru
  • Guntur
  • Kurnool
  • Kadapa
  • Kakinada
  • Nellore
  • Ongole
  • Tirupati
  • Srikakulam
  • Visakhapatnam
  • Vizianagaram
  • Vijayawada

APPSC 2022 Group 1 Exam Centers for Mains

The APPSC Group 1 main exam is a traditional essay-style test administered on paper. The number of candidates in the main exam is large, but the number of exam centres in the prelims exam is small.

For the APPSC Group 1 main test, there are just four exam centres. The following are their names:

  • Ananthapur
  • Tirupati
  • Visakhapatnam
  • Vijayawada

APPSC 2022 Group 1 Exam Centers for Interview

The candidate who passes the APPSC Group 1 main exam is called for an interview and document verification. The interviews are held at the APPSC office in Vijayawada. The applicants were required to come to the office and participate in the interview.

APPSC 2022 Exam Pattern

Prelims: The Prelims is a screening test consisting of two papers for a total of 240 points based on objective type questions. It is conducted in an offline mode (pen- paper format) 

In the Prelims Exam, there is negative marking for wrong answers.

Mains: The mains examination is a descriptive type that consists of seven theory papers each for 150 marks. It is conducted in an offline mode. 

The candidate's combined marks in Mains and Interview (out of 825) are taken into account for selection.
