APPSC Recruitment 2023 is conducted every year for the recruitment of different posts. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts various recruitment exams for state government recruitment in Andhra Pradesh. The commission has divided the APPSC exam into four groups APPSC Group-1, APPSC 2023 Group-2, APPSC Group-3, and APPSC Group-4. There are different posts for recruitment offered under these four groups. The exam for all the groups is conducted in three phases prelims and mains exam, and personal interview. APPSC follows a conventional process by releasing recruitment notifications for specific posts/posts and accepting applications from eligible candidates as a conventional start to any recruitment event. APPSC Recruitment Registration 2023 

To fill out the application form for APPSC 2023, candidates first have to register online with their basic details. Find below the steps to fill the application form of APPSC: 

  • Visit the official website of APPSC
  • Now click on the official notification of APPSC to check the post eligibility
  • Check out the eligibility criteria and procedures with the candidate’s registration
  • Fill the basic details as the Aadhar Card Number, Name of the Candidate, Candidates’ Date of Birth, Religion, Caste (general /SC /ST /OBC), and the educational details as class 10th marks and grades, class 12th marks and grades, name of the board, school name, and address. 
  • Enter the contact details to create the registration ID and password for the APPSC recruitment application as parent’s details, mobile number, email ID, address of the candidate.
  • Now upload the scanned photo and sign of the candidate as per the instructions.
  • After completing the registration form of APPSC mark all the declarations required by the authorities to complete the process.
  • Now the OTPS ID will be generated by the authorities and sent to the provided email address and mobile number of candidates.
  • After generating the OTPS ID, log in through the official portal APPSC
  • Now fill the application form through the ‘Direct Recruitment’ process by entering the login ID and password
  • Choose the group and post you want to apply for and proceed. 
  • Submit the fees online after completing the application form through Net Banking /Credit Card /Debit Card 
  • After that, submit the application form, download, and take out the print of the application form for future reference. 

APPSC Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Candidates willing to apply for the APPSC exam 2023, must check out the eligibility criteria before filling the application form online. The eligibility criteria for all the groups of APPSC exam is different as per the post offered by the authorities as provided below: 

  • Each candidate must be a citizen of India. 
  • Candidates must be in a good physical and mental state and should satisfy the conditions applied by the authorities for public services recruitment as per the groups. 
  • Candidates must be having a good character and work record in his /her past working organizations. 
  • The authorities have provided age relaxation up to 5 years of age for the candidates belonging to ST /SC /Backward class category, 10 years relaxation for the PwD category, service period, and 3 years relaxation for the Ex-servicemen, maximum five years for the government employee under Andhra Pradesh. 
  • Candidates should be physically fit to apply for the different recruitment positions of APPSC. 
Eligibility Criteria for APPSC Group 1

Find below the eligibility criteria to apply for the APPSC Group 1 exam 2023: 

Educational Eligibility: To apply for any post under group 1 of APPSC, the candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University as per the required discipline for posts provided below: 
  • District Fire Officers in A.P. Fire Service: Graduation specialized in engineering (fire) from a recognized University or any other equivalent degree. 
  • Assistant Treasury Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer in A.P. Treasury & Accounts Service: Graduation in economics, commerce, mathematics, from a recognized University by UGC, or chartered accountant course from the United Kingdom or India, or incorporated accountant course from London. 
  • District Social Welfare Officer in A.P. Social Welfare Service: Graduation in Sociology from a recognized University in India, or any other equivalent degree in social work, or sociology. 
Age Relaxation Criteria: To apply for the group 1 exam of APPSC, the authorities have provided the age limit as per the different category posts as given below: 
  • Post Code 1 – Deputy Collector: 18 to 42 years of age
  • Post Code 2 – Assistant Commissioner: 18 to 42 years of age
  • Post Code 3 – Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cat -2): 21 to 28 years of age
  • Post Code 4 – Deputy Superintendent of Jails (Men): 21 to 28 years of age
  • Post Code 5 – District Fire Officer: 21 to 26 years of age
  • Post Code 6 – Asst Treasury Officer/Asst Accounts Officer: 18 to 42 years of age
  • Post Code 7 – Regional Transport Officer: 18 to 42 years of age
  • Post Code 8 – Asst Prohibition & Excise Superintendent: 18 to 26
  • Post Code 9 – Mandal Parishad Development Officer: 18 to 42 years of age

Note: The authorities have also provided the age relaxation for different category candidates as for ST /SC /OBC category there is a relaxation of 5 years, for Ex-serviceman relaxation of 3 years after the service period, for PwD relaxation of 10 years, and for the government employees of Andhra Pradesh relaxation of 5 years after their service period. 
Eligibility Criteria for Group 2

To apply for group 2 under the APPSC exam, the candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as per the post: 

Educational Eligibility

The educational eligibility for all the posts under the APPSC recruitment is different as provided below: 

  1. Assistant Labour Officer: Graduation from a recognized University in India.
  2. Assistant Register: Graduation from a recognized University in India.
  3. Assistant Section Officer (Law Dept.): 3 or 5 years LL.B. from a recognized University in India.
  4. Senior Accountant in Insurance A.P. G.L.I sub-service: Graduation from a recognized University in India.
  5. Prohibition & Excise Sub Inspector: Graduation from a recognized University in India.
  6. Deputy Tahsildar: Graduation from a recognized University in India.
  7. Asst. Commercial Tax Officer: Graduation from a recognized University in India. 
Age Eligibility: The age eligibility criteria for the posts of group 2 will be applicable as per the following conditions: 
  1. Assistant Labour Officer: 18 to 42 years of age 
  2. Assistant Commercial Tax Officer: 18 to 42 years of age
  3. Prohibition and Excise Sub Inspector: 18 to 28 years of age 
  4. Deputy Tahsildar: 18 to 42 years of age 
  5. Municipal Commissioner Grade – III: 18 to 42 years of age 
  6. Assistant Registrar: 18 to 42 years of age 
  7. Extension Officer: 18 to 42 years of age 
  8. Assistant Development Officers: 18 to 42 years of age 
  9. Executive Officer Grade-I: 18 to 42 years of age 
  10. Sr. Auditor: 18 to 42 years of age 
  11. Senior Accountant: 18 to 42 years of age 
  12. Junior Assistant: 18 to 42 years of age 
  13. Assistant Section Officer: 18 to 42 years of age
Note: For the candidates belonging to the Physically handicapped category there is an age relaxation up to 10 years, and for ST /SC / OBC category relaxation up to 5 years. 
Physical Fitness: Following rules will be applicable for physical fitness:
  1. The height of the male candidate should not be less than 165 cm. For female candidates the height should not be below 152.5 cm. 
  2. The chest circumference of the male candidate should not be below 81cm after full exhaling (including the expansion of 5 cm).
  3. For female candidates, the weight should not be below 45.5 kg. 
Eligibility for Group 3

Candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for any post under group 3 of APPSC: 

Educational Eligibility: Candidate must be having a graduation degree from a recognized University in India incorporated under a State Act, UGC, Central Act, or any Provincial Act, for the post of Panchayat Secretary (Grade-IV) in A.P. Panchayat Raj Subordinate Service. 
Age Eligibility: Candidates must be of at least 18 years of age and not more than 42 years of age. For the candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped category there is a relaxation of up to 10 years of age, and for ST /SC /OBC category relaxation up to 5 years of age. 
Eligibility for Group 4

The candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the group 4 posts:

Junior Assistant cum Typist in the Social Welfare DepartmentCandidates should have cleared the intermediate exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate Exam under A. P. government.
Junior Assistant cum Typist in the Social Welfare DepartmentCandidates should have cleared the intermediate exam under the Board of Intermediate exam or any other equivalent exam. Candidates should have cleared any of the technical exams conducted by the government in Typewriting as per the standards of Govt. in Telugu. 
Junior Assistants in Social Welfare DepartmentCandidates must have cleared the 10+2 level exam under the Board of Intermediate Exam under A. P. government. 
Junior Assistants from Prisons and Correctional DepartmentCandidates should have cleared the intermediate exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate Exam under A. P. government.
Junior Accountants in Treasuries and Accounts Subordinate ServiceCandidates should have completed the intermediate exam from the recognized board of intermediate education in the state. Candidates must be having a bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Computer application engineering. The candidate should have completed any technical course offered by the Board of Technical Education and Professional Training for the same in Hyderabad. Candidates must have experience in troubleshooting, office automation, PC maintenance, and web designing. 
Junior Assistants from CCLACandidates should have cleared the intermediate exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate Exam under A. P. government.
Junior Assistants in Fire DepartmentCandidates should have cleared the intermediate exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate Exam under A. P. government. 
Age Eligibility 

Candidates must be of 18 to 36 years of age to apply for the posts under this group. The authorities have provided relaxation for candidates belonging to Physically handicapped category up to 10 years, S

APPSC Exam Pattern 2023

APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam Pattern

  1. Number of Papers: Two papers 
  2. Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions
  3. Duration of exam: 120 minutes (Two hours) 
  4. Number of questions: 120 questions  
  5. Marking Scheme: One-third mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
  6. Maximum Marks: 120 marks 
APPSC Group 1 Main Exam Pattern

  2. Type of questions: Descriptive Type Questions
  3. Duration of exam: 180 minutes per paper 
  4. Number of papers: Total 7 papers (2 qualifying papers and 5 papers for merit rank)
  5. Marking Scheme: One-third mark will be deducted for every wrong answer

Maximum Marks: 150 marks

After clearing the mains exam for group 1 candidates are called up for the personal interview round for final selection.

T /SC /OBC category up to 5 years, Ex-servicemen up to 3 years, State govt. employees up to 5 years, and for an experienced instructor in N.C.C. for up to 3 years.

APPSC Admit Card 2023 

The admit card of the APPSC 2023 exam will be issued on the official website. The date of issue of the hall ticket will be updated in the official notification by the authorities. The exam conducting is not responsible to send the admit card to all the registered candidates of APPSC. Candidates will have to download the APPSC admit card for all the groups as per the steps provided below: 

Steps to Download the Admit Card of APPSC 

  • Visit the official website of APPSC
  • Choose the link to the APPSC group for which you have applied 
  • Enter the registered login ID and password
  • Now click on the link to download the APPSC admit card
  • Download the admit card and check all the necessary details as the date of birth, name, gender, roll number, exam date, time, sign, exam center, candidate’s category, etc. 
  • Now, take out the print to carry at the exam center of APPSC. (A valid Id card is mandatory for all the candidates to carry at the exam center along with the admit card of APPSC 2023)

APPSC Answer Key 2023 

Before the announcement of the APPSC result, the authorities will issue the answer keys on the official website. After the issue of answer keys, candidates are given an opportunity to raise objections and give suggestions for the correction of answers, if any. 

Raising the objection for correction of Answer Keys

After checking the answer keys of APPSC, candidates can raise objections if they find any incorrect answers in the answer keys. To submit the objections, candidates have to send mail on the registered mail Id along with their registration number, name, question number, and a valid reason along with the evidence supporting the answer of the candidate for objection. 

APPSC Result 2023 

The authorities will issue the result of the APPSC exam on the official website separately for all the groups. To check and download the result of APPSC candidates can follow the steps provided below:

  • Visit the official website
  • Select the result notification from the notification section
  • Click on the APPSC result notification 
  • Now, select and open the PDF of your group 
  • Enter the registration number in the search bar to check your score on the APPSC exam 
  • Download and save a copy of the PDF for future reference. 
Note: The result of APPSC for all the groups is declared at three levels as: 
  1. APPSC Prelims Result: After clearing the prelims round candidates become eligible for the mains of APPSC. This phase is compulsory to apply for the mains. 
  2. APPSC Mains Result: In the APPSC mains result the score of all the papers will be covered. The main score will determine the position of the candidate in the final merit list. The selected candidates under the mains will be invited for the personal interview round.
  3. APPSC Final Result: The final result of APPSC will be announced after the final interview round and the documents verification. After this result, candidates will be called up for the recruitment of the relevant post.
