APPSC 2022: Exam Pattern for Prelims, Exam Pattern for Mains, Documents Required for Application Form

APPSC 2022 Group 1 Exam Pattern - There are three stages to consider: Preliminaries, Mains, and an Interview. The Prelims is a screening test consisting of two papers for a total of 240 points. The mains examination is a descriptive type that consists of seven theory papers. In the Prelims exam, there is negative grading for incorrect attempts. The candidate's combined marks in Mains and Interview (out of 825) are taken into account for selection.

APPSC 2022 Prelims Exam Pattern

APPSC Group 1: Prelims 
  • The preliminary exam comprises of two papers, each worth for 120 points.
  • It is based on Multiple Choice type of Questions (MCQs).
  • It is administered in an offline (pen-paper) format.
  • There will be consequences for incorrect replies.
  • For each incorrect response in the Prelims exam, 13 of the marks given to the question will be subtracted.
  • Only those candidates who pass the Prelims exam will be eligible to take the Mains exam.

APPSC 2022 Mains Exam Pattern

APPSC Group 1: Mains 

Only those who pass the Prelims exam will be eligible for the Mains exam.

  • It is carried out in an offline mode.
  • There are seven descriptive papers, each worth 150 points.
  • It is made up of two qualifying papers: Telugu and English.

APPSC 2022 Documents Required for Application Form

APPSC 2022 Exam Centers for Interview

The candidate who passes the APPSC Group 1 main exam is called for an interview and document verification. The interviews are held at the APPSC office in Vijayawada. The applicants were required to come to the office and participate in the interview.
