Assam Public Service Commission conducts the state level administrative exam for the various posts. Through APSC exam one can have the post such as tax inspector, superintendent of taxes, Assam Civil service, Assam Police Service, Officer at District transport, lecturer etc and many other posts.  The APSC exam takes place in different stages and the selection process is followed as:
  1. Prelims and Mains written examination followed by Interview.
  2. After the written exam,  an interview takes place. (if the number of candidates is very high in comparison to the number of posts, a Screening test is conducted to minimize the number of candidates proportionately, which, of course, depends on the discretion of the Commission). APSC Recruitment 2021 Application Form

The process of the application form of APSC takes place in an online mode. Candidates have to follow certain steps in order to fill the online form . The steps are:
  • Visit the official site of APSC.
  • Register for the exam by entering the details such as name, aadhar card no., gender, D.O.B., religion, caste and the educational details 
  • Further,  enter the valid email id and mobile no.
  • Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in a prescribed format. 
  • Login id will be created and candidates can use it for future reference.
  • OTP Id will be generated and sent to the mobile no. and email id of the registered students. 
  • Now login and fill the form through” the Direct Recruitment” process.
  • Choose the group as per the preference and apply. 
  • Now submit the form fee through net banking/debit card/credit card.
  • Download the application form and take the print of it for future reference. 

APSC Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The education requirement differs as per the post. The candidates must check the eligibility requirement as per the post before applying for the APSC. However, there is a minimum eligibility requirement for every candidate in order to fill the form and appear in the exam. 
  • Candidates must be the citizen of India
  • The willing candidates must have at least 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age. (Age relaxation is there as per the Indian Government Norms)
  1. Relaxation of 5 years for the ST/SC students in the upper age limit
  2. Relaxation of 3 years for the OBC category students in the upper age limit. 
  • Must have completed the bachelor’s degree from the recognised university.

 Any one of the languages from Assamese, Bengali and Bodo. Candidates from Dima Hasao, Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong districts who had not studied any of these languages in school shall be exempted from appearing for qualifying language papers.)

APSC Recruitment 2021 Admit Card 

Assam PCS admit card will be released by the Commission on an online mode at the official site of APSC. Only the successful registered candidates can have the APSC hall ticket. A digital form of admit card is not allowed at the centre. Hence have the printed form of the admit card. The steps candidates need to follow in order to have the APSC admit card are:
  • Visit the official site of  APSC.
  • Locate the link for the admit card on the home page and click on it.
  • Enter the login credentials such as email id, phone no., or the application number.
  • One can view the APSC admit card on the screen. 
  • Download the admit card and take the print of it for future reference. 
  • Read the instructions carefully before visiting the examination centre. 

APSC Recruitment 2021 Answer Key

Once the exam is over, the aspirants eagerly wait for the answer key. APSC answers key releases in an online mode. With the help of the answer key candidates predict their scores and learn about their qualifying nature. One can easily access the answer key as it is available in pdf form. Check the APSC answer key as per the paper wise. 

APSC Recruitment 2021 Result

The result is out on the official website to those who have attended the exam. The result contains the qualifying status of the candidates at the different levels.
  • APSC Prelims Result: Candidates who clear the prelims exam are eligible for the mains exam.
  • APSC Mains Result: Those who attain the mains are eligible for the interview
  • Final Result/Interview: After the interview, the final merit list is prepared and the final selection is done.
