DUET Eligibility Criteria 2022: Program Wise Eligibility Requirements Pdf

DUET Eligibility Criteria 2022 for both Undergraduate, Postgraduate & M.Phil/PhD courses have been provided on the official portal of Delhi University. The candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements before filling the application form, else form will be rejected. The eligibility criteria for all programmes have been released along with the Information brochure. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted to conduct Delhi University Entrance Test 2022. Candidates can scroll down to know detailed DUET 2022 Eligibility Criteria.

DUET Eligibility Criteria 2022

Before applying for DUET 2022, applicants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility requirements otherwise once the form fee will be deposited will not be refunded in any case. Check the educational requirements, citizenship requirements, etc hearby;

DUET Eligibility Criteria 2022 for Undergraduate Courses 

Get the requirements from below given points:

Courses Eligibility Criteria
B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics/ Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS)/ Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) (BBA(FIA))/B.A. Hons. (Humanities and Social Sciences)

The average of 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination in the best four subjects(list provided in the brochure).

B.Tech. (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation)Applicants should have a score of 60% or more marks in four subjects, including Mathematics, in the qualifying examination.
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

Must have an aggregate of 50% or more marks in the qualifying examination, and should have 50% marks in each of the “Best Four” subjects.

The best four subjects may include:
One subject from English/Hindi (core or elective) and three other subjects from the following: any one language (offered by CBSE or its equivalent board at 10+2 level); Biology; Physics; Chemistry; Mathematics; Economics; History; Political Science; Geography; Sociology; Philosophy; Psychology; Business Studies / Accountancy.

OR

One subject from English/Hindi (Core or Elective), two other subjects from any one language (other than that chosen in the list I, offered by CBSE or its equivalent board at 10+2 level); Biology; Physics; Chemistry; Mathematics; Geography; Economics; History; Political Science; Sociology; Philosophy; Psychology; Business Studies/Accountancy and Any other subject (other than those mentioned above) in class XII offered by CBSE or its equivalent board.

 

Bachelor of Science in Physical Education,
Health Education and Sports (B.Sc.[PE, HE& S)
The aggregate of 45% or more marks in the qualifying examination, with one language subject and three best subjects. 
Five Year Integrated Course in JournalismAn aggregate of 50% or more marks considering all five subjects offered in the qualifying examination.
B.A. (Hons.) in Hindustani Music:Vocal/ Instrumental (Sitar/ Sarod/ Guitar/ Violin/
Santoor) / B.A. (Hons.) in Karnatak Music- Vocal/ Instrumental (Veena/ Violin)/ B.A.(Hons.) in Hindustani Music: Percussion (Tabla/ Pakhawaj)

One should have secured 45% or more marks in the qualifying examination including one language and two elective subjects in addition to Music.

OR

Learnt music for not less than three years from a well-known teacher/ guru.
Such applicants will be required to produce a certificate issued by the institution/
teacher/ guru, as the case may be to this effect.

B.Ed. Special Education (Mental Retardation) 
  • Women candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities programme.
  • Women candidate with Bachelor‘s in Engineering or
    Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics
    with 55% marks.

 

 B.Ed. Special Education (Visual Impairment)
  • Candidates with at least 50% either in the Bachelor‘s Degree and/or in the Master‘s Degree in Science/Social.
  • Candidates with B.Tech with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
  • Bachelor‘s degree and/or in the Master‘s degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
  • Bachelor‘s in Engineering or Technology candidates should have 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) 
  • One should have a Bachelor‘s degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in Inter College/Inter-zonal/District/ School competition in sports & Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.

OR

  • Bachelor‘s degree in physical education with a minimum of 45% marks.

OR

  •  Bachelor‘s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks and studied physical education as a compulsory elective subject.

OR

  • Bachelor degree with 45% marks and must have participated in National/Inter-University/ State competition or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter Zonal/District/ School competition in sports games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India.

OR

  • Bachelor‘s degree with participation in international competition or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and game as recognized by respective federations /AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India

OR

  • Should hold a degree of Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and at least 3 years of teaching experience i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches).
Master of Physical Education (M.P.ED.)

One should have passed Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks.

OR

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with a minimum of 50% marks.

LLB
  • Graduate / Post Graduate Degree from a recognised university or Foreign University as equivalent
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying degree examination are also eligible to appear in the LL.B Entrance test.
  • For all general category candidates, marks should be no less than 50% & for  OBC/CW/PwBD candidates it should be minimum 45% marks whereas for SC/ST Category its 40% marks. In all cases, equivalent grade point will also be accepted.
LLM
  • A three-year/five-year LL.B. degree from any recognised University or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi.
  • Appearing candidates in the qualifying degree examination also can apply.
  • For all UR category candidates avg marks should be 50% & for SC / ST / OBC / CW/PWBD category candidates there will be 5% marks relaxation.
M.A. (Hindustani Music)  Vocal /Instrumental (Sitar / Sarod / Guitar / Violin / Santoor)
  • B.A (Hons.) Hindustani Music from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks can apply.

OR

  • B.A. (Pass/Prog.) Examination with Hindustani Music as one of the
    elective subjects from DU or an examination recognised as equivalent to B.A. (Pass/Prog.) of DU with Hindustani Music as one of the elective subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with 60% marks in Music or equivalent CGPA grade.

OR

  • An undergraduate degree in any subject recognized by the UGC, and also
    having passed any one of the following Diploma courses:
    • Sangeet Shiromani Diploma Course (Hindustani Music) of the University of Delhi
    • Sangeet Visharad (6 yrs.)
    • Vid (6 yrs.) • Sangeet Prabhakar (6 yrs.) 
  • 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA grade and 60% in the Diploma Course in Hindustani Music – Vocal/ Instrumental.

OR

  • Applicants who have an Honours/ Masters course in any subject, and wish to pursue Masters in Hindustani Music - Vocal/Instrumental, must have studied at least two papers of Hindustani music in their undergraduate programme with a minimum of 50% marks in avg or equivalent CGPA grade and 60% in Hindustani Music – Vocal/ Instrumental
  • Applicants, who have completed their graduation with either Vocal
    music or Instrumental music in Hindustani Music will have to apply in
    the same category in M.A.
 M.A. Hindustani Music  Percussion (Tabla/Pakhawaj)
  • B.A. (Hons.) Hindustani Music - Percussion (Tabla/ Pakhawaj) with a minimum of 50% marks in avg.

OR

  • B.A. (Pass/Prog.) with Hindustani music - Percussion (Tabla/Pakhawaj) as one of the elective subjects from the University of Delhi, or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate & 60% in Hindustani Music – Percussion.

OR

  • An undergraduate degree in any subject recognized by the UGC, and from any university /institute/centre recognized by the UGC, and also have passed any one of the following Diploma Courses 
    • Sangeet Visharad (6 yrs.)
    • Vid (6 yrs.)
    • Sangeet Prabhakar (6 yrs.) 
  • with a minimum of 45% marks in avg or equivalent CGPA Grade and 60% in the Diploma Course in Hindustani Music 

OR

  • Applicants who have an Honours/ Masters course in any subject must have studied at least two papers of Hindustani Music - Percussion (Tabla /Pakhawaj) in their undergraduate programme with at least 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA, and 60% in Hindustani Music - Percussion to apply for this 
 M.A. in Applied Psychology 
  • B.A. (Hons.)/B.A. (Pass)/B.A. (Prog.) Examination in Psychology with 55% marks or above in Psychology and in an aggregate or equivalent grade

OR

  • It has a Graduation degree then must have 60% marks or above in
    aggregate or equivalent grade

OR

  • Post-graduation then should have secured 55% marks or above in
    aggregate or equivalent grade
MA in Sanskrit
  • B.A. (Hons.) Sanskrit form any well known university with a minimum of 45% marks for General and EWS Category and 40.5% for OBC category candidates.

OR

  • B.A. (Programme) Sanskrit with an avg 50% marks in aggregate for
    General and EWS category and 45% for OBC candidates

OR

  • B.A. (Pass)/B.A. (Programme) or BA (Hons.) with at least two papers of Sanskrit with not less then 50% marks in aggregate for all General and EWS category and 45% for OBC

OR

  • Shastri/Acharya (Sanskrit) examination with a minimum of  50% in aggregate
    for General and EWS Category and 45% for OBC/SC/ST/PwBD category
